Peaceful, comfortable stay.

The house was set a short drive from Oughterard in beautiful countryside. It was beautifully clean and well equipped. Very comfortable beds and sofa's. All of Galway is within easy driving distance. We loved our holiday here and could fully recommend this house.

Pleasant comfortable really enjoyable stay.

We just loved the property comfortable clean location etc it was great. We cycled to nearby sights of Lough corrib, Aughnanure castle both of which are 2 miles either way of the property. Also cycled to Oughterard golf club also a short distance away, the quiet safe roads made this possible. The kids loved the spacious garden around the property with the electric gates safe for them to play on their bikes, or play soccer and basketball. The nearby village of oughterard has places to eat and lovely walks up around back of the playground or up at the back of the church to a fabulous waterfall walk. 3miles away by car. Just outside oughterard the glengowla mines well worth a visit for young and old. A little further up that road sign posted Leam, is the stone bridge made famous by the movie the Quietman. Not to mention dogs bay twenty minutes outside Clifden or about 50 mins from the property depending what route you take, honestly who needs Lanzarote, absolutely fabulous beach. The breath taking views through maum cross over to Clifden or into leenaun a must also. The stunning Kylemore Abbey can be seen on route, from the road nestled into the side of the mountains definitely worth a visit. And if some retail therapy is on the agenda Galway city within 25 mins drive away. So much to do in close enough proximity to Castle view the perfect base for the perfect staycation. Ann is the lovely welcoming neighbour next door for any advice or information needed!
