This place is not really a hotel but basic amenities been provided. Very close to Petro Park so if you’re a big Padres fan, this place is a steal.
The room size is good enough for a solo traveller with 2 luggage. Having more people or luggage could be a bit cramped.
Since there’s no “actual staff” for checkin, the given instruction is very clear & easy to understand.

I’ve stayed at many hotels in San Diego and after just one stay at hotel GiGi, this will be the only one that I book whenever I’m in town. The location is perfect, if you like nightlife it’s only a short 5 minute walk to the Gaslamp quarter or if you love sports like I do, it’s just a baseballs throw away from petco park. The privacy, professionalism and complimentary high speed WiFi are huge if you’re traveling for business. In regards to cleanliness, the room and property were immaculate. It’s obvious that attention to detail is a high priority for the host (Rita) and the staff. Rita went out of her way to make it feel like a home away from home. I will definitely be back soon

hotel is nice and modern. Room is comfortable. Location is amazing. The downside was the cleanliness. When I entered the hotel there was a funny smell everywhere. When I got to my room at 4pm for check in it turned out they were mopping several rooms, including mine, who was open. Floor was still wet but I didn’t see anyone cleaning. So I entered my room and closed the door (it was past 4pm). I realized the bathroom was half cleaned and the funny smell was because they were mopping with dirty water. TV never worked. Other than that, the facilities are fine and modern. It’s a shame.
