    Do not trust the photos shown on Agoda, what you see online is completely detached from reality. ​I stayed here last night, and the experience was awful from start to finish: ​Misleading listing: The property is rundown, decaying, and looks nothing like the advertised pictures. ​Cleanliness & Odor: The room smelled awful upon entering, with visibly stained and dirty walls throughout. ​Pests: There were cockroaches crawling around the room. ​Bedding & Itching: The mattress and sheets were in terrible condition, old, and felt scratchy. Within minutes of getting into bed, my entire body started itching. It felt completely unsanitary. ​Furniture: Worn-out, broken-down, and neglected. ​This place fails basic health and hospitality standards. Management needs to update their listing honestly instead of deceiving guests. Avoid this place at all costs.

    I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Golden Palace Hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything felt comfortable, welcoming, and hassle-free. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent for exploring Kuala Lumpur. What I appreciated most was the comfort, convenience, and great value for money. It genuinely felt like a place where I could relax and enjoy my stay without any unnecessary worries. Overall, it was an exceptional experience, and I would happily recommend Golden Palace Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Kuala Lumpur.
