Preciosa ubicación y terraza de desayuno. Desayuno muy bueno.

Deberían informar de la hora de cierre del restaurante porque a las 9:45 no pudimos cenar.

One of the best hotels in the Balige area with a very nice hotel location with a beautiful view of Lake Toba from the dock, close to Silangit Airport (30 minutes driving), has its own dock, compliment free ride with a speedboat (awesome) on weekends, and also a bigger boat to sail around Lake Toba in Sunday, unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to ride it cause need to go to the airport for a morning flight. The breakfast food was OK, the variation of the menu was quite OK, and the staff and hotel owner was very friendly and helpful It has a karaoke facility with a nice sound system in its dock every night, a sauna room, and a swimming pool ( I didn't have a chance to use it). The bedrooms also bathroom were clean, the hot water was OK. If you need a "transit hotel" after your long trip from Samosir & Parapat in the Lake Toba area, the Purnama Balige Hotel is a good recommendation. The majority of tourists visiting the Balige area come from local and neighboring countries. Not many come from Europe or America

the room space was not so big (twin-bed is 18 sqm & deluxe type is 20 sqm), there was no fruit available for breakfast, their coffee beverages menu was not ready yet since their coffee machine just arrived and their staff hadn't been trained yet, the wifi internet speed was not too fast. The most disturbing thing was the incident where several visitors were still singing karaoke until 1.30 am and this really disturbed my sleep and made me very angry. My room location was close to the dock restaurant cafe. I even called hotel security to reprimand the visitors twice until finally, they stopped karaoke. There should be strict regulations from the hotel management at what time visitors or guests can do karaoke activities or other things so as not to disturb the peace of other hotel guests during their rest time. However, I appreciate the efforts made by the hotel management who apologized to me the next day for this incident Another noise that occurs at night is that several cafes around the hotel are still playing loud music but after 12 at night they stop

Lots of nice restaurants around the area. Close to the town. Close to bulbul beach. Porter/ security was nice and friendly

When we checked in we were directed to rooms across the road from the main hotel. We werent made aware of this on booking.com Rooms are basic -not particularly clean- net curtain was dirty. Watch the corners of the beds they are deadly. Restaurant and bar area under water for the whole of the stay- not their fault obviously but no courtesy notification from hotel to let us know the situation before arrival Breakfast - food was not nice and staff don’t top things up when they’ve run out. In fact the waiter stood and watched me while i tilted the juice container trying to get some out of the tap and didn’t make any effort to assist or refill. Pool- is small but nice and clean and cool. But no towels. You have to request them at reception prior to using the pool. Snack- ordered pisang goreng- bananas were not fresh and batter had been fried in old fat so tasted horrible. No sauce either. Just dry. Wife had bakwan and tofu which she said was ok but when she asked for chopped chilli she was charged extra for it. Where in Indonesia charges for chillies?????
