Toba Crest Vue

民宿很新，今年新开的，有很漂亮的风景，可以俯瞰整个parapat码头。房间虽然不是很大，但是双人床的下面还能拉出一个小床，满足三人住宿的需求。户外的公共区域有桌椅可以坐，晚上跟朋友一起聊天喝酒看风景很不错。老板是一位奥地利女士，人非常好，还给我们随行的司机安排了车库旁的一个小房间住宿。

一楼的房间可能因为洗手间下水的问题有些异味，但是老板很快帮我们换到楼上的房间，解决了这个问题。另外民宿因为是在山路旁边，把车驾进驾出车库需要一点技术，不是很容易。不过也并不是很大问题，因为民宿对面的马路旁也有位置可以停，我们就停在外面了。

The hotel is beautifully located on a hill with such a great view! The owners were extremely helpful arranging our transport to Silangit airport and ordering dinner for us (which was really delicious and had vegan options!). If you don't have your own transport (like us), keep in mind it is a bit out of the center of Parapat. We didn't mind this at all, and enjoyed spending our (only) evening in front of the room watching the sunset. It was very convenient that there was a food delivery option. :) We used a local bus (Wisata Indah) to arrive at the hotel. It can be helpful to tell the driver (in our case using a translation app) it's on the road towards Bukit Senyum.

Benny and Christina are the owners, and the are such lovely, friendly and helpful hosts. They made us feel very welcome throughout our stays. They Location is superb, with a beautiful view of lake Toba. The scenery from the room and outside from my room is simply breathtaking and the peaceful surroundings make it a wonderful place to relax and unwind especially in the morning and evening. The room is a reasonable size and the bed is super comfortable

The room is no air-conditioning, only a side-wall fan. Personally, i found the room is a little stuffy and the air circulation could be better. I had to keep the door open most of the time to get more airflow. The hot Water system in the bathroom was also inconsistent and to be honest quite difficult to control. This was especially challenging for my elderly parents and unfortunately we were unable to enjoy a proper hot shower. This was the main downside of the room. Another point to note is that the property is not particularly elderly-friendly as there are quite a number if stairs to climb. My Parents who are in their late 70s, found is quite difficult going up and down. Thankfully, Benny and Christina were incredible helpful and assisted my parents whenever needed which i truly appreciated.

I can’t thank Beni and Christiana enough for the help they gave us during our stay. They are the most incredible hosts and nothing is too much trouble including fetching food for us from the town and organising a driver for our onward travel. Christiana even helped care for me with my twisted ankle, which was well beyond my expectations. The rooms are extremely clean and well laid out and the property is within a lovely natural setting. Thank you both.
