Do not trust this host or booking

That there were other guests in the apartment and it was double booked. The host refused to take responsibility for the issue until much later. Still haven’t been refunded the money by the host or booking.com and had to find other accommodation.

Apartment is comfortable but far from perfect.

The apartment is clean is in a central location so it's close to the Château de Fontinebleau. It has several cafes, restaurants in its vicinity. Also Monoprix just down the road with good selection of food & clothes.

When you look for the building dont look for the name look for name, keep an eye out for number 21 building C. This apartment is just one flat in the whole complex so there's no staff on site for any problems that arise. I assume other residents are privately owned. The shower head has broken off it's mount on the wall so you have to spay yourself with shower head. The shower curtain ain't the best so water will spill out on the fall, with the fall being tilled its very slippery.

Good Stay for a Solo, Low-Maintenance Traveller

It was located in a lovely enclave really close to the castle (2 minutes away) and not far from INSEAD either (15 min). The communal areas were clean and well-maintained, and it was lovely and warm. The apartment was well-stocked with kitchen utensils. The window/ledge gave a lovely view of part of Fontainebleau. The Wifi was consistent and helpful.

Having to dispose of the garbage was a task, and I felt uncomfortable navigating the dim basement halls and litany of keys. The garbage bin was too small and the sorting instructions were not in English (and quite complicated). Furthermore, the soap provided was inadequate and the towels were rough. The pillows on the bed were awful, one very hard and one very soft, it felt like camping outside. I awoke multiple times both nights I stayed, due to discomfort. The shower tray is small, and the shower curtain unhelpful.

Buen apartamento

La ubicación del alojamiento es muy buena, cerca del Château y de la calle principal, al tiempo que silencioso por estar en una zona residencial. La comunicación con el anfitrión muy buena. La cama cómoda y un buen frigorífico y cocina.

El baño definitivamente necesitaría una pequeña reforma. El WC se mueve y la cortina de la ducha estaba muy sucia por abajo. La ducha además es muy pequeña.

Das Appartementhaus an sich ist "laut". Schwer zu sagen, ob es die Warmwasserzubereitung ist oder etwas anderes. Bis 2 Uhr nachts war an Schlafen ohne Ohrschutz nicht zu denken.

Studio très agréable à Fontainebleau

Très bien équipé, confortable, très calme, dans un cadre très joli, tout proche du château.

Point négatif pour les transports en commun, attention les bus, la ligne 3401 pose vraiment des problèmes, certains bus ne passent pas. La ligne 3421 pour Barbizon est quant à elle très incertaine, passage aléatoire ! S'il faut dire quelque chose pour le studio, déco un peu vieillotte mais compensée par un équipement complet. On recommande.

Logement pratique en centre ville.

La proximité du château et du centre ville à pied. Possibilité de stationnement dans la rue (mais payant dans la journée) Bonne literie et lit large, on dort très bien. Très grand frigo/congélateur. Ascenseur.

Pas de parking privé accessible. Bruit incessant dans l'appartement jour et nuit (bruit de ventilation ??) Heureusement j'avais des bouchons d'oreilles, mais pas ma femme ! Machine à café capricieuse, a du mal à chauffer. Douche exigüe.
