This gite is in an excellent location, just 10minutes walk into the pretty town of Amboise. About 15 min walk back as it is a gentle slope. There is safe parking too. The small town has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. We visited the beautiful town of Loches and the magnificent Chateau Chenonceau which did not disappoint, unlike the gite. We briefly met Soazig who was friendly and showed us around. I was most disappointed with the garden; it didn't look anything like the photo. It was overgrown and neglected, and the sun parasol was broken and dangerous. The pillows were uncomfortable as was the sofa. The towels were thin and worn. There was no welcome pack, no English tv, no dvd player and no games. The gite is in an excellent spot but it needs some TLC.

Perfect modern, clean, well-appointed apartment for my wife and I, for our visit to Amboise. Unit was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The convenience of have a washing machine in the apartment, was much appreciated. We loved the apartment and would stay her again, and will recommend it to any of our friends traveling to the Loire Valley!

My wife, sister, and I, all healthcare professionals from California, LOVED this modern, lovely apartment. It was very clean, appointed with new kitchen amenities (we ate breakfasts in), has a large spacious bathroom with towel warming rack, and very comfortable beds. The garden setting was really pleasing, the host was sensitive and available, and it's location is good. We would definitely try to stay here again if we return to the Loire Valley area. Only shortcomings- a chest of drawers in each bedroom would be nice.

My husband and friend and I found the site comfortable and clean and very cozy. The position close to the town was great. Mr and Mrs Moulin were helpful and friendly we would highly recommend this site to any of our friends needing accomodation in Amboise.

We found the cottage just as described with two large bedrooms and a kitchen sitting area. The kitchen had everything we needed and the washer in the unit is so convenient. Amboise is located nearly in the center of main Chateaus of the Loire Valley so it is easy to get around. The cottage itself is located maybe ten minutes walk from the center of Amboise for restaurants, shops, the Friday and Sunday Market. The only issue we had was that WIFI connectivity was spotty but this was a minor nuisance and overall is adequate.
