About this villa rental
The house 'Sun and Moon', is located in the West of Madeira Island, in a pleasant area Arco da Calheta. Between the Mountain and the sea, with a frontosa landscape, has private garage, gardens with private pool and equipped barbeque. Inside it has 2 bedrooms with private bathroom, air conditioning in the rooms with balcony to the outside equipped with bed linen and bath towels has central heating with wood burning and dining room has wall heating. On the 1st Floor a nice terrace. Wi-Fi, local cable V. MEO. We have a game table with games available.

The home was absolutely beautiful with the most amazing views. Sandra's hospitality was wonderful! We had a spectacular stay. The amenities were perfect. We recommend you rent a car however. This will allow you to go back and forth to town as needed. We didn't rent a car but were easily able to get Bolt to pick us up. We wish the weather were better so we could have take advantage of the pool.

It's no wonder that everyone rates this villa and owner 5 stars!
Cristina was a perfect host: she made lunch for us when we arrived, took us to the local supermarket and even bought souvenirs for my kids when we left!
We all wished we could stay longer.... You feel like you have been welcomed into Cristina's family home rather than an impersonal holiday rental.
The villa was perfect with wonderful views and we all enjoyed the pool (even if it was a little chilly in October 😁)
Would definitely book this villa with Cristina again. But make sure that you have a hire car as not everyone would want to walk the winding steep hills that give the villa such fabulous coastal views.
