Sheran Safari House

We were only there one night but were impressed. We arrived in the afternoon. Sheren was out on a safari but his mother and father were there and looked after us really well bringing drinks and caring for us. The rooms were very nice and comfortable and the garden is lovely. Sheren came after his afternoon safari and was very friendly and arranged for us to go on safari the next morning. He was a very knowledgeable guide who pointed out lots of things we would not have seen and made it more enjoyable for us. He also organised our onward travel.

We had to cut our stay short so didn't have a chance to use many of the facilities or sample the home cooked meals. The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a good amount of outdoor space. Sheran an amenable host and very efficient. He took us on a wonderful early morning safari. He was a most informative guide and provided a tasty breakfast which we enjoyed overlooking the crocodiles. He is committed to ensuring his guests have a memorable experience.

It is quite a remote location and it took us a while to find. There wasn't a great deal to do in the local area so it's all about the safari.

Our stay in Udawalawe was great.The room new & clean,with comfy beds! The hospitality was a 10/10,and we absolutely loved the foods! The safari was a great experience and sheran knew heaps about the animals.Sheran was a great safari tour guide. Highly recommended for everyone!!!
