Craft Inn Te

Staying at Craft In Te is an experience in itself. All the details, the artworks and the stories behind every object. I wish I'd had more time to take it all in. If you're considering booking any experiences, do it! We went to Baba Mill where they make cedar incense, a shop that makes kurume kasuri, and the next day we did an indigo dyeing workshop. This wouldn't have been nearly as memorable without the wonderful translators, Aki and Shizuka. I wish we get to visit this place again!

Une super adresse pour découvrir Yame et sa région. Nous avons apprécié l’emplacement en plein cœur du quartier historique et proche des commerces, la chambre immense et magnifiquement décorée avec des objets réalisés par des artisans de la région, le petit-déjeuner traditionnel japonais faits avec des ingrédients locaux, les pyjamas tout doux. Le personnel nous a également aidé pour organiser des activités exceptionnelles (cérémonie du thé et teinture indigo). Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps !

A lot of thought was put into the small details: ceramics, design of the rooms with bamboo furniture and indigo pillows, two coldbrew teas in the fridge every afternoon. I love how they work and connect visitors with local craftsmen in the area. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The staff were responsive, and they helped arrange visits to local craftsmen with an interpreter. I recommend wholeheartedly, and I can't wait to visit again.

Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel et le personnel est incroyable. Ils nous ont aidé à réserver des visites dans la région et ma partenaire leur à demander de l’aide pour fêter mon anniversaire, et ils ont pu rendre cette journée vraiment spéciale.

La maison dans laquelle l’hôtel se trouve est traditionnelle et assez vieille. Il ne fait pas oublier d’allumer le chauffage sinon les matins sont très frais.
