8 / 10Excellent·Jul 2026
Although we enjoyed our stay, making use of the facilities on site, the pool and other amenities were very good. The walk to the beach and other walking areas with our dogs was excellent. On site shop was handy but expensive, the same goes for the pub. One of the mattresses was extremely uncomfortable and hard, although they tried to rectify this with duvets on top of the mattress, which made it slightly better. Although the general cleanliness was Ok, it appears the cleaners only clean what is visible, I moved a bedside table to use the plug socket and there was a large amount of dust on the skirting boards and this seemed to be the case throughout the lodge, hence the low mark. Overall this did not affect our stay and have already booked to return, but in a different lodge.

A gorgeous, well maintained lodge with every facility we could possibly need. Even things like condiments in the cupboard and outdoor cushions were included. We came home feeling very refreshed!

Perfect lodge for 3 couples sharing. Lots of space with own private bathrooms. Good for walking from the door and good location to visit local beauty spots.
We had a power cut for a couple of hours during our stay which was site wide but the site kept us informed what was going in. It didn't effect our holiday.
We would definitely go back again.

Excellent Lodge with everything we needed, plenty kitchen utensils which can sometimes be a problem. We had grandchildren with us so appreciated the puzzles etc. and the many TV channels as the weather was very snowy.
Great location with pool and gym on site plus a place to eat.
Would have no hesitation in recommending this property
