About this apartment rental
We are offering our 85-square-meter apartment for rent, which sleeps 6–8 people (6 adults or 4 adults and 4 children), located in a semi-detached chalet in Montriond, a village nestled in the heart of the Portes du Soleil.
The chalet is situated on the edge of a forest in a quiet setting, yet only 150 meters from the village center, where you’ll find a grocery store, ski rental shop, restaurants, the ESF office, and the Tourist Office.
Montriond is a charming village in Haute-Savoie situated at the foot of Avoriaz and right next to Morzine. It is about a 40-minute drive from Lake Geneva.
Just 100 meters from the chalet, you’ll find a free shuttle that takes you to the Ardent gondola, with direct access to Avoriaz (ESF Lindaret) or Morzine. The shuttle runs every half hour during the season.
Lake Montriond is 2 km away. In summer, a hiking trail at the foot of the chalet takes you to the lake in 45 minutes through the forest.
In summer, you can enjoy the many activities the lake has to offer: swimming, canoeing, fishing, and stand-up paddleboarding; and in winter, cross-country skiing around the lake.
Morzine, just 2.5 km away, offers plenty of amenities to help you make the most of your vacation: a swimming pool, ice rink, tennis courts, skate park, summer toboggan run, and numerous bars and restaurants…
Our duplex apartment has a total area of 85 m² (including approximately 15 m² under the sloped ceiling) plus a ski storage area in the garage and a private outdoor parking space.
The apartment includes: a small entryway, a living room/kitchen (approximately 25 m²), a laundry area, two shower rooms, two double bedrooms, and a dormitory.
The first bedroom features a 160 double bed, a desk, and storage space. The second bedroom features a 140-double bed and a closet. The dormitory includes a 140-double bed and a 90-single bed.
The bedding is brand new. All beds are equipped with a comforter and pillow; bed linens can be rented for an additional fee (18 euros per bed).
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, Nespresso machine, refrigerator, and freezer.
TV (Orange Box), Wi-Fi, washing machine, and dryer included.
Wood-burning stove is out of service.
Stairs are not suitable for young children.
A mandatory end-of-stay cleaning fee applies.

A couple of additional requests were dealt with promptly. The place itself, although not new, was clean and worked well for us.

We had some other places cancelled very last minute with no explanation so was very stressed but Jennifer was clear and quick to respond to messages and gave us all the info we needed before we arrived and during our stay. Would highly recommend a visit. The place had really easy access into Morzine too which was great and plenty of parking for cars.

The chalet was well appointed and the communication with the owner was excellent. Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

Somewhat complicated and confusing communication via the website.
But still flexible and positive response from the owner to our very short notice request and booking.
