It was the worst experience I've ever had booking a property and I have booked many!

The host didn't provide any of the access details prior to arriving. We found a building manager who helped us get in touch with the host by phone and finally we were able to get the code to enter. In the time preceding, my children and mother (in her 80s) had to sit on the building steps while I tried to sort out our access to the unit. Once we finally got settled in, we tried to use the shower and there was no hot water. I contacted the host several times and never received any assistance. We vacated the unit without even staying one night. My cousin had booked the other unit of this host in the same building and was told upon their arrival that the unit had been trashed by the prior occupants and that they no longer had accommodations. The host didn't even reach out prior. They waited for my cousin to contact them about accessing the unit. It was the worst experience I've ever had booking a property and I have booked many.

Good value, comfortable and centrally located apartment but with some maintenace issues

This was the third consecutive year we have stayed here because of it's good location for Train and Bus stations. Once inside it is also very quiet despite it's location close to Burnley nightlife.

The shower controls need replacement the flow control kept falling off but was operable. The temperature control was totally inoperable and was jammed at very, very hot. Only way to use the shower was to run off most of the hot water tank so it topped up with cold water and reduced the temperature to bearable. Thus both water and electricity is wasted in achieving a shower without being scalded. Also one of the bedroom doors will not close shut and requires easing.

Great appartment in a safe peaceful area...

Everything was just as described and pictured. Really felt like "home from home". Impressed with the safety of parking (in a gated area with code for electric gates) with an allocated numbered space. Felt safe in the area which was close to shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants (great Indian - Aroma). Was also quiet which is what you want of an evening. Easy contact with hosts who were clear and accurate with 'Whatsapp' messages. Definitely recommend this little gem!

Great location, with free off road parking in Burnley. Loads of great little touches - snacks, toiletries, magazines & books etc. Super clean and very comfy beds. Like a home away from home. The hosts went above and beyond.

Absolute perfection

I loved the ease of access, furnishings, decor, location, and the fact that the hosts clearly went to great lengths to make our stay perfect; I was amazed at what was included, for example two kinds of shower gel, two large bottles of pop, and dozens of other little touches. I really appreciated all that, and the place really did look great. All the furniture was so comfy. Everything was spotless to the point of gleaming.

If you need need large windows that let in a lot of natural light (with beautiful views!), this is not an ideal choice. That's really all I can say against this beautiful and well-maintained apartment.

first impression having to walk through hall way then through a rough looking white fire door out into a small rear yard to get to front door was a little worrying as to what you might find but once inside place was lovely .

great location right in the centre of town but the flat itself is nice and quiet. nice extras such a toiletries etc. perfect location for the football at Turf Moor -walking distance to the ground with some decent pubs in between.

slight lack of windows because of where it is - but happy to sacrifice this for a town centre location that is quiet !
