Donguri House Bali

Our host (Shanti) was friendly and a great source of local information. She gave us tasty sweet bread and water-melon. The property was clean, modern and the pool was a bonus.

The walk from the property to the beach (which is lined with fantastic beach-front, fresh seafood restaurants) is a little dark and scary at night, so I’d advise a torch.

Close to the airport and the beach. The house is absolutely beautiful, and the hosts are wonderful and incredibly welcoming. They even offered to let us stay beyond the check-out time. The pool is lovely and, since there are only a few units, it almost feels like having a private pool. Highly recommended! The house itself is newly renovated, modern and equipped with both a bathtub and a shower. It is also very quiet and comfortable.

Shanti the owner is lovely. The unit is spotless. A lovely feature is the outdoor shower. The pool is great after being out for the day. The air conditioning is cold. Can walk to the seafood restaurants on the beach. Soft fluffy towels.

This is not a negative, the bed for us was firm. Other than that we loved everything about this property and will come back.

We really loved this property. The owner, Shanti, is one of the kindest, most helpful people you will ever meet. She bought us a loaf of fresh bread when we arrived and cookies for our plane ride home. She sent us lots of helpful information about the area, things to do, motorbike rentals, restaurants and more. She was so so lovely. Her home is beautiful, big, and clean. It was big enough to have private space, the kitchen was fully equipped and it had lots of little touches that felt like a home. We were very sad to leave!
