Absolutely fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive from check-in to checkout. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered a stunning view. The bed was so comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful variety of delicious options. Its central location made exploring the city a breeze. The entire experience was seamless and luxurious. We truly felt valued as guests and will definitely be returning. Low-key, welcoming and great for solo traveller

It was a pleasure to stay in a low-key, local type of place. Shanti made me feel so welcome. As a solo female traveller I felt very at home here. My room had a small complete kitchen, great air con, and was very clean. Short walk to the glorious sunset/seafood beach.

Great base close to the aiport

Great location (close to the airport and the beach yet off the main streets and quiet). Wonderful staff - Shanti was super sweet and helpful, getting out of her way to make sure our stay was amazing sharing recommendations, tips, and food! The room was spacious and comfortable.

The bathroom was not in perfect condition (but Shanti was very responsive to help)

Very good stay and close to the aiport

We were looking for a place to stay one night close to the airport and quiet when sleeping. This place was nice, new and very clean. Our flight was delayed for hours and in the end we arrived 2 am in the morning and Shanti was very welcoming! Great service, thank you

Relaxing experience near the beach and seafood restaurants

The ground floor room we had was great. The outdoor shower was excellent (there’s also an indoor bath/shower) and the pool was a few steps in front of us. The area is a local suburban one but at the end of the street is the beach road with a long line of seafood restaurants to choose from. The property is self-catering and there are mini markets not far away as well as laundries if you need your clothes washed. Manager Shanti is really helpful.

It’s actually about 50 metres down a little lane from Jl. Pemelisan and there is no sign, just a tall wooden door in a plain high fence. You need to phone or WhatsApp Shanti to arrange to be let in

The property owner was fantastic. She made us feel welcome from the start, and went over and above to make our stay great, including getting up very early in the morning to ensure we got to the airport safely and on time.

Fantastic hostess who went out of her way too look after us during our stay

The owner of the property, Shanti, met us on arrival and explained how to use the facilities. We arrived at 12 noon, 2 hours earlier than the 2pm check in and she was happy to store our bags while room was cleaned. She offered to drive us on her bike to different places we needed to get to. She took me to my manicure and massage appointments, she drove us to the fish markets and helped to buy good quality and very reasonably priced lobster and other seafood, she drove us to the grocery shop and back. Nothing was a problem for her to solve - we only had to ask, and she would give us lots of useful information about how to get the best price for our money and how to make the most of our holiday. She was very friendly and hospitable. Another great feature of the property is that it is a walking distance to the fish market. You can buy fresh seafood at the market and get it cooked right there for you. It works out a fraction of the cost you would pay in Australia and can enjoy a variety of fish, lobster, crayfish, shells and so on. We definitely will want to go back and stay at that place again!

A quiet, cosy and private sanctuary with a delightful host!

I had such a wonderful stay at Donguri House. Shanti is a fantastic host and she and her family are so accommodating and kind. They looked after me like family! Excellent communication and service. The apartment was very clean, cosy and quiet. It was beautifully and thoughtfully designed by Shanti's sister-in-law. Donguri House felt like a home away from home for 1-2 people as it has everything you need. Very secure and private. Located 5-15 mins walk to the beach and restaurants, cafes, convenience stores. About 10-15 mins drive from the airport. Look forward to returning soon!

Nice accommodations with a relaxing atmosphere including a pool.

The owner was very accommodating and helpful. The beach was nearby and the location was good. The place was quiet and comfortable and spacious like a little apartment, not just a room. I would recommend this for a nice relaxing time.

Great stay, good location, excellent host.

The rooms is like in the pictures. Very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable, I slept very well Shanti is a gem. She is so caring and nice and she ensured we have everything. She also advised us on the local prices and where to get fruits and food. The location is 5 minutes walking from the beach/restaurants. By scooter, a few minutes from the fish market where you can go take fish and grill it at a restaurant.

Amazing place with an amazing owner!

I'm not sure how to put into words how lovely our stay was at Donguri House. If you're looking to stay here you will no doubt see the many mentions of the owner Shanti and she was an angel. We have not met an owner before who is so kind, caring and accommodating. She has such a warm nature and wants the best for your stay. We found out we were pregnant whilst staying here and Shanti was so excited for us and making sure I was always cared for and giving us tips on what the locals do during pregnancy and it was honestly the sweetest thing. We were sad to say goodbye to her and will definitely return to see her again ❤️

Nothing! The room is spacious, clean but also modern and simple in style. The place only has 4 rooms so it's nice and quiet and the pool area is never loud. No complaints from us!

Great place, up to european standards

We travelled Bali and Lombok for 4 weeks and this was one of the best places we stayed in. Very clean, bath inside and shower outside with hot water. The bed and pillows were amazing too.

Shanti is a really friendly and hospitable host, and we truly felt at home during our stay! She would often offer to drive us out to Jimbaran beach and the seafood restaurant/markets whenever we bumped into one another, and have so many great conversations with us, really going the extra mile within her capacity. The bathroom is also very clean and nicely done up! It’s important to note that she runs the operations and CRM of the property mostly solo, with the help of just one extra cleaner. This is on top of managing her family’s seafood restaurant at Jimbaran Beach so she’s really superwoman doing her best to stay on top of everything. Would encourage guests to afford a little understanding and patience if your room is not ready on the dot upon arrival, as sometimes she is swamped with managing a full property checkout + checkin + cleaning alone within a single day, before attending to the restaurant’s needs every night. Do be sure to provide your contact number at the point of booking and also check your Whatsapp as she will contact you on the day of your arrival. There might not be as much responsiveness on the booking.com app so Whatsapp is best! Also, her family’s seafood restaurant is yummy and she’s trying hard to get it off the ground again post-Covid so do support their great cooking!

Not really a dislike because everything was really good, but just a suggestion that it would be good for the downstairs room to have a small curtain at the windows above the sink to give more privacy, because it faces the toilet door.

Great place to stay!

Donguri House is like a home away from home. Very central to most things including the airport, beaches in Jimbaran, supermarkets, and other main areas of the Island like Kuta, Seminyak, Sanur, Uluwatu etc. I was sick a couple times, with a sensitive stomach getting acquainted with where’s good to eat in Bali but the pharmacy wasn’t far away and provided me with everything I needed to get better. Also being able to stay in really homely accommodation while on the mend is the greatest feeling and removed any possible stress. Shanti is the most wonderful host, she’s very honest, kind and will help you with anything you need. The apartment has a kitchen and a TV with Netflix (a rarity in Bali). All in all it was great value for money and in the top two places I’ve stayed in Bali so far.

Everything was great. The only feedback I’d give is if a brochure with a list of clean restaurants in the area was provided to guests during their stay with Vegan, Indonesian, American and European food options. Then you could avoid going to a dodgy warung or resto by accident.

Perfect for 1 Night or 1 Month!

The owner was so helpful and kind! The price was amazing! The pool and grounds were beautiful. The location was close to everything in Jimbaran. We also really love the little space we had. There was a kitchen area that also had a tv and a table with 2 chairs. There was a huge bathroom with two sinks and one indoor shower and one outdoor shower. And the bedroom had a door that could close off from the kitchen, good lighting and very cold air conditioning. This place would be a perfect place to stay for a month!

Home away from home.

Friendly host and cares a lot about her guests. due to not being my first Rodeo in Asia, at first I took her friendliness as trying to haggle me. After meeting her and getting her help, it was only coming from her heart. so whoever encounters the same, don’t be afraid! The host is amazing! Very clean and very well furnished place. We were stuck here for Nyeppi but it was very comfortable that we enjoyed it in doors. Unit is newly built, so we made it like home.

Villa is new, fresh, modern, and perfectly styled. My eyes were happy every day! Kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with all accessories for comfortable long stay. White plates of different sizes, large fridge, microwave oven, stove, cooler. Spacious bedroom and bathroom with two sinks. Personal tropical shower was so amazing! Swimming pool clean and useful. Sometimes we were preferring staying at home rather than go to beach. Territory is small but very cute and relaxing with lot of greenery inside and around. There is parking for motorbikes under a cover. High fence makes good privacy what we liked. Location is good. It is walkable to the famous fishing market. There are supermarkets around. One is 5 minutes to walk and larger one Coco is 1.5 kilometers far (takes 5 minutes on motorbike). Owner provides regular cleaning with attention to details and drinking water. She is very responsive, attentive, helpful, and very kind. We stayed there for one month and spent it as one day. It was really enjoyable time!

Долго выбирала отель и очень рада, что остановилась именно на этом варианте! До моря 3 минуты, до рынка рыбного 5 минут. На пляже куча кофешек! Именно так спокойно, балдея на пляже и обьедаясь морепродуктами!!!! мы хотели зафиналить наш 3-х недельный отдых на Бали. Номер прекрасный ... уютный, чистый ... есть все для приготовления еды! удобная кровать, профессиональный персонал...особенно хозяйка Шанти....это просто ЧУДО!!!! я ее обожаююю... встретила как родных, всегда на связи, всегда поможет, подскажет, вызовет такси...... любые вопросы помогала решать и не важно.. ночь или день :::))) ps и да, кто-то писал про школу рядом, что громко и тд.... это не правда... да школа рядом, нам вообще не мешало... , наоборот с утра чашечка кофе на балкончике и смотришь как белочки прыгают по деревьям и детки в школе веселяться...

Super freundlicher Service. Das Zimmer war eher ein Apartment, sehr groß und sauber. Auch gut eingerichtet. Die Möbel passen alle zusammen. Trotzdem nicht wirklich eine Gemütlichkeit. Ideal für ein oder zwei Nächte nahe am Flughafen. Sehr gute Lage, man ist schnell am Strand und trotzdem ruhig. Der Abstand Abschnitt ist hier auch recht schön und zentral. Es gibt sogar einen Pool, der ist auch sauber und ordentlich.

Das Zimmer ist ungemütlich, obwohl es gut eingerichtet ist. Es fehlt eine bisschen Liebe bei der Einrichtung, Bilder, Wärmere Farben oder Ähnliches.

一間很棒的民宿，房東Santi太太很熱心，我們早出晚歸，她都還是很熱心的接待。我們的班機在凌晨，她也一直熱心推薦景點，還讓我們行李寄放一整天，也協助我們叫車，非常貼心。值得推薦，下次有機會一定會再來住這裡。

Santi超級熱心接待，整個房間的設備都令人滿意。價錢也很便宜，物超所值。

一點小小的遺憾就是使用吹風機時會跳電，但不要同時使用太多電就還好了。Santi也是很熱心幫忙解決。

Le bon plan qu'on veut garder pour soi

Le logement spacieux, propre et complet avec équipements bien entretenus. La propriétaire super gentille m'a même prêté son scooter perso pour faire une course. Nous avons aussi un prix intéressant au restaurant de sa famille sur la plage de Jimbaran, et l'accueil est chaleureux. Cette villa est une petite perle, avec une piscine toute mignonne.

Je n'ai absolument rien à redire. Tout était parfait et a dépassé mes attentes.

バイクがないと不便

お部屋が広くて冷蔵庫も普通のホテルより大きいのが付いていました。

バスタブにお湯を入れるとだんだん温度が下がりぬるくなります。お陰でかぜをひいてしまいました。お湯は一定の温度になるようにした方がいいと思います。朝食は提供されないので近くにお店とかもないのでバイクがないと大変です。私たちは前の日に次の日の朝食を買いに行き準備しました。プールも掃除されてるとの事でしたがあまり清潔そうではなかったから入れなかったです。プールの床も綺麗ではないとおもいます。テレビもありましたがネットフィリックスとかしかつかえなくてテレビ番組は見れません。
