Cool, Quiet and Comfortable

I found Hotel Puri Bambu to be a very relaxing and comfortable hotel, Bali style, of course! While the buildings have seen better days on the exterior, the rooms are large, clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff are very warm, friendly and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Very disppointed that the hotel didn't look anything like photos on booking.com. Grubby and unkempt.

The hotel wasn't anything like the photos on booking.com. It was very very dated, and unkempt. The kitchen looked grubby. The rooms were old and dark, one room toilet didn't flush, other room shower handle came off in my hand.

Great Tradional Balinese Hotel

Beautiful old traditional Balinese Hotel with immaculate lush gardens and lovely big pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice and the complimentary tea, coffee and water in the outdoor dining area was a real bonus. Location is fabulous, only 10 minutes to the International airport. We will be back!

Full of character

This is a delightful older style hotel full of antiques and lovely wood carving. Beautiful gardens. Rooms are simple but comfortable. I enjoyed having a hot bath. We stayed to go to the visa office at Benoa Square. Also only 5 minutes walk to Jimbaran Beach.

A kettle and larger water bottles in the rooms would make it perfect. But water refills and tea/coffee available free in the restaurant.

Hidden gem - budget hotel - close to beach, restaurants and airport.

Built 35 years ago, traditional style features, gardens and decor. Amazing tropical garden featuring orchids and stag-head ferns. The pool is well shaded. Outside dinner area for breakfast. Rooms are simple and air conditioning is excellent. The location was great, hidden from “humbugging” close enough to the beach and restaurants. This is an excellent budget hotel.

As the tropical weather can be quite harsh, the property could do with a little maintenance.

Not far from the airport and was meant for a final stop before a long flight home.

A really nice hotel it’s a shame it needs maintenance

Shower handle was broken and they suggested I wait until the next day for a shower. We were leaving early next morning and a monkey pooped on me. When I insisted on a shower they moved us to another room and that shower handle fell off too. At least that one we could hold in place to get water out. Nice pool and large rooms beware their plumbing .

Good service but...

The staff were very responsive and helpful and provide prompt services. Unfortunately, their good service could not make up for the dated facilities. Location was near to the beach (approx 300 metres), with plenty of seafood restaurants (which they called cafes) but little else of other shops. It is also a short distance to the airport. Breakfast included was adequate with options of either Continental, American or Indonesian breakfast (fried rice or noodles).

Rooms and facilities are dated. The room has a mouldy smell although the staff was prompt to provide some scent diffusers. The shower head was bad and had to be replaced. No kettle was provided, so of course no coffee sachets or tea bags are provided either. No room safe to keep valuable items. The alleyway (I hesitate to call it a road) leading to the hotel was narrow, dusty and dark at night. I had to call the hotel staff who came to replace the tv set. There was no tv service (only youtube was available).

Goed verblijf als uitvalsbasis voor de vele vers vis restauarants en of terugreis.

Ruim 2 maanden onderweg binnen Bali en dit was de eerste locatie van al onze boekingen waar we als als complementary een leuk fruitmandje kregen. Vol verbazing waren wij... dan is alles toch meteen " Bagus" Tevens was er een centrale plek (ontbijtgedeelte) waar je altijd een kopje koffie of koud water kon halen. Loopafstand naar de vers vismarkt en of vis restaurants.

Aandachtspunt kan zijn, al vroeg gaat de lagere kinderschool open, deze zit in de zelfde straat bijna als buren ... en kinderen die hoor je ;-)

Me gustó la piscina, el desayuno, el restaurante, la decoraciones exteriores. El personal.

Es un lugar que debió tener un pasado esplendoroso, pero ahora necesita actualizar las habitaciones y los baños. Aún así es agradable.

Buena estancia

El alojamiento es precioso aunque le falta mantenimiento. La piscina preciosa, muy tranquila, bien ubicado. Las habitaciones amplias y con vistas. Estuvimos solo una noche antes de coger nuestro vuelo.

Хороший отель, номер большой, чисто, уютно. Вкусные завтраки на выбор. Отличный бассейн. Учтите до океана надо идти минут 10. Нам это не мешало. Мы с удовольствием гуляли.

Душевая, было бы не плохо провести ремонт. Отсутствие достаточного света в номере.

Sehr schönes und geräumiges Studio-Zimmer mit nettem Personal. In Laufentfernung viele Restaurants mit Fischspezialitäten. Fischmarkt ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

Parfait pour passer un séjour à Jimbaran

La chambre est grande avec un balcon et une climatisation qui fonctionne très bien, les lits très corrects, durs comme nous préférons.Petit déjeuner buffet varié et bon, nous étions près du marché aux poissons de Jimbaran et des plages où pour un tarif très raisonnable les restaurants vous servent du poisson grillé les pieds dans le sable en admirant le coucher de soleil. Nous avons loué un scooter par l’hôtel et c’est la première fois que nous avons eu un scooter très récent, d’excellente qualité et de bon casques. À peine plus cher qu’ailleurs mais bien plus sécurisant. Nous n’avons pas eu le temps de profiter de la grande piscine qui est entourée d’un jardin luxuriant. Cette halte d’une nuit pour reprendre notre avion était parfaite et nous y reviendrons, de plus le personnel est adorable comme dans beaucoup d’endroits sur Bali.

Il y avait quelques cheveux longs dans la baignoire, c’est bien dommage car cela montre un petit laisser aller mais ceci ne nous empêchera pas de revenir

Das Frühstück. Es gibt kein Buffett, da liegen drei Schalen mit Obst, ein Behälter mit überbackener Banane und man kann Kaffee aus einer Kanne nehmen. Wasser umsonst. Es gibt 3 Varianten zum Bestellen: Continental, American Breakfast und indonesisch . Kaffee aus der Kanne oder Nescafe und Tee. Also Toastbrot, nur süße Marmelade. Wer das als toll beschreibt hat wenig Empfinden für ein gutes Frühstück. Hotel in die Jahre gekommen, Besitzer will kein Geld in die Renovierung stecken. Zimmer dunkel.

Optimale Lage für den letzten Abend auf Bali

Wir haben das Puri Bambu aufgrund der Nähe zum Flughafen und zum Jimbaran Beach ausgewählt. Dafür ist die Lage optimal, wenn man nicht allzuviel Geld ausgeben will. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut und reichlich. Die Betten waren auch ok. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Das Puri Bambu hat seine besten Tage offensichtlich schon hinter sich gelassen. Die ganze Anlage verströmt einen etwas altertümlichen, muffigen Charme. Unser Zimmer lag ebenerdig und war recht geräumig. Die Einrichtung ist allerdings arg in die Jahre gekommen, die Holzmöbel abgewohnt und das Emaille in der Badewanne abgeplatzt. Außerdem sehr wenig Licht im Raum, auch wenn alle Lampen an sind. Für eine Nacht in Ordnung. Wir waren quasi nur zum Schlafen da.

Camera grande e bella struttura dell’hotel anche se un po’ datata

L'hôtel est beau, il semble authentique, la piscine est jolie et le personnel est aimable.

Les chambres ne sont pas très bien entretenues, miroir abîmé, paume de douche jaune-orangé d'usure, nombreux éclats dans l'émail de la baignoire. Difficile de communiquer avec le personnel de l'hôtel (faible niveau d'anglais) La restauration est chère mais pas la hauteur du prix, la localisation n'est pas jolie: quand on quitte l'hôtel, la rue est sale, en travaux, dans un quartier qui semble industriel, ni accueillant ni chaleureux. Le petit déjeuner aurait pu être plus abondant et de meilleure qualité par rapport au prix, disons que j’ai utilisé la chambre en individuelle car pas pu être accompagnée et le prix ne change pas si utilisée à 2 ou si on voyage seule. Aussi le dîner était de moyenne qualité par rapport au prix. Décor chambre moyen.
