There are two lockboxes from which the guests obtain the keys to the building and the flat; process is super easy and the host provided instructions and directions in advance of arrival.
The flat I stayed at (Walliefolie) was very comfortable and spacious - I was staying there alone most of the time, bar one night when I had a visiting friend spend the night. The flat was clean and well looked after, everything worked, including the complimentary WiFi and Netflix subscription.
Charleroi itself was an incredibly interesting city for me to visit, very post-industrial but full of absolutely lovely people, some of the nicest I've met. If you are staying at Sophie's flat, do visit Le Chien Vert, a cosy bar just round the corner which is run and frequented by some of the friendliest people I've met. I cannot recommend them enough. The centre of Charleroi, including the railway station, are within easy walking distance. Bit furthero out, I definitely recommend a day trip to the industry and coal mining museum of Bois du Cazier. I'd say Charleroi is also a great base to explore the rest of Wallonie and Belgium. Can't wait to return!
The shower handle needs some repair, and the cold tap in the bathroom was dripping (this did not keep me awake as there was no noise and I made the host aware).

J'ai bien apprécié la propreté, modernité et la luminosité du logement.
Le fait qu'il y'avait également la télévision avec Netflix.
L'hôte, Sophie F était très serviable et gentille.
