Welcome to Lucky 13th - Unit A — a 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath Jacksonville Beach home that sleeps 4, just a half block from the ocean. Walk out your front door and you are on the sand in under 2 minutes.
The unit spans the 1st and 2nd floors of a 4-unit building. Both bedrooms have queen beds, ideal for couples or families with older kids. The half-bath on the main floor means no one is waiting in line in the morning. Look for the letter "A" on the private ground-floor entrance — no shared lobbies, no elevator waits. Just unlock and unload.
The full kitchen handles real meals — oven, stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and a Keurig with coffee and tea stocked. No need to eat out every night. The in-unit washer and dryer means you can pack lighter for longer stays and come home with clean clothes. Free parking on the premises keeps the trip budget simple.
Salt Life Food Shack is a 5-minute walk for fresh seafood after a beach morning. Mellow Mushroom is also 5 minutes on foot for pizza and craft beer in the evening. We had everything we needed ❤️ close to beach, toys for people with children. Great patio and neighborhood 👌 loved having the coffee too...thanks again Mavis 😀

We were okay with our overall stay but had several issues that did not meet our expectations. We were unable to use our entry code due to the smart lock having no batteries. This then took us several calls and some 30 minutes of initial frustration to get in with a manual emergency key/lockbox. We were greeted by a roach in the kitchen. We expected 2 bathrooms as it was 2 couples staying and getting ready for a wedding weekend and were surprised to find there was only one bath with a shower and the other downstairs with just a toilet. The description said 2 baths and should have said 1 1/2 baths. We never found in the description the size of beds and were displeased with the quality of the small mattress. Shower water pressure is extremely low, so plan to take a long shower to rinse hair.
On the positive, the unit was well supplied with beach, bath and kitchen supplies. Unit was nicely renovated with great colors.
