Close to beach, restaurants & taverns.
Bed very comfortable. Easy check in and out.
Pipes froze overnight & had no water. Partners was leaving that day & unable to shower.
Bathroom sink backed up the next day leaving a real mess.

Close proximity to the beach/shoreline. Right in the heart of everything. Quiet location. Secure parking. We have stayed In #5 previously and thoroughly enjoyed it! However…. #7 not so much!
Upon first arriving Friday and opening the door, there was a VERY strong scent of sewer. I verbalized to my husband and I also noticed there were 2 old air fresheners placed in front of the unit air vent (I’m assuming to mask the scent). At first, we brushed it off to possibly the unit being closed up and not rented for a few days or so.
On Saturday morning, we left the unit for several hours (to move our son into Edward Waters University) only to return around 6pm, open the door and the stench was HORRID! It was so strong, it was almost overbearing! We immediately went to Dollar General and purchased another air freshener (discarded the old ones) and aerosols to help. Had we not been leaving the following morning, there is no way I would have wanted to remain in that unit.
Additionally, there were dead knats in the freezer/bathroom, a hair tie on the back of the bedroom door handle, the bathroom light switch cover was not connected to the wall, only 1 plate in the kitchen cabinet and the window panel in the bathroom was hanging off (missing one of the snaps on the backside).
I was truly disappointed in this unit as we were just in Unit #5 for 6 days approximately 3 weeks prior. This unit did not live up to the standards of previous, which is so unfortunate. IF we return to this booking, I will absolutely ensure it will not be unit #7.
I really hope NOMAD takes this feedback and makes appropriate updates so no one else has to encounter this type experience. Thank you.
