A short distance from rafting, cave exploring, and more, this smoke-free cottage lets you experience it all. Jump into your car and make short work of the 9-minute drive to Santuario Mariano Eremo di Calomini or the 14-minute drive to Ponte della Maddalena (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).

After you return to this 161-sq-ft cottage, you can unwind by the communal pool or sip a drink in the garden; you may also like the deck or patio and outdoor furniture. As for the great indoors, you can come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and TV.

As you settle into this 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom rental, you'll find a BBQ grill and air conditioning. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer, a bidet, and towels. The accommodation was very clean, the garden loveley, and the pool is clean and in a very green surrounding. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. It is a good place to stay and start trips in the beautiful Toskana!

Paola and her dad are fabulous hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and the quality of information and communication is outstanding. The accommodation is spacious, well appointed and has everything you could possibly want - it was spotless. We loved that we had our own little garden area and terrace and that the pool was just a few steps away and, again, beautifully maintained and looked after. It's clear that the hosts take a lot of pride in the work that they do to make your stay the best it can be. We were given great recommendations pf places to eat, visit and other support for taxi's Covid tests and so on. We'll definitely be returning again! Thanks Poala and Calos!

We had a fantastic stay here, the pool was great and was never crowded. With COVID you got dedicated loungers which was a good idea. The area is lovely with a bakery just around the corner a a few really nice restaurants within a 20 min walk (or couple of mins drive). There’s plenty to see and do further too (we did a day trip to Florence easily from here). The accommodation was also very nice and stayed cool in the hot weather. Cons - only a couple of little ones, the pillows were not very comfortable and we sometimes got woken up early in the morning by the sprinklers, but these would not put me off coming again as everything else was perfect.

The property is beautiful and the room was perfectly clean and maintained. The host was very attentive providing us with information to visit other towns in the area. We enjoyed the pool area a lot as our vacation was based mostly on relaxation however there is many opportunities to visit the local towns and attractions within a short drive. Gallicano has several restaurants within walking distance of this location which we enjoyed and the locals are very friendly.

This was our second time at Il Melograno, the last time we stayed it was fantastic, this time it was even better! All the rooms now have air con, their own kitchen and their own dining area in the lovely, well kept gardens. Each room also has wifi which is also accessible in the dining areas and by the gorgeous pool. Paula, Carlo and Loretta will cater for your every need. We stayed 10 nights and only shared the pool twice throughout our stay as most people are out and about. If you stay here you have to visit the leaning tower! Less than an hours drive so no excuse not to and boy does that tower lean!!! There is plenty of parking at the property for cars and bikes and the bikes are usually kept inside a secured fence. The gardens are maintained by Robert (the robot), it is a mechanical robot that cuts all 3 lawns throughout the day but don't worry, it doesn't bite. I would recommend for adults but they also cater for children too. This is not the number 1 place to stay in Lucca, it is the number 1 place to stay in Italy!!
