The property is central to Kirkwall and easy to find. It is very clean and well equipped. The host was a great help.
I would be happy to stay again
The code for the lockbox did not appear in my email and despite ringing the telephone number for the host I never received a useful response. It was by chance that the real host messaged us at 2130 2hr and 30mins before arrival whilst sailing to Kirkwall and sent us a copy of the check in instructions. This proved to be a very anxious wait and contact with Booking.com was useless, the confirmation number and pin code supplied did not work. I shall endeavour to avoid using Booking.com in future

Very convenient for the town centre and bus station
The flat was rather dark and scruffy. The kitchen was tired looking. The bed had a dark duvet cover on it which made that corner dark. The main room was quite cluttered with bits and bobs and old fashioned
