Villa Matera

Un soggiorno davvero speciale, di quelli che vorresti non finissero mai. Abbiamo trascorso alcuni giorni di pace e totale relax a Villa Matera, insieme a mia moglie e al nostro Labrador Charlie, e ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. La villa si trova in mezzo alle campagne, in una posizione meravigliosa e silenziosa, con una vista mozzafiato che regala una sensazione di tranquillità assoluta. L’alloggio è semplicemente incantevole, curato, accogliente e dotato di tutto quello che serve per godersi una vacanza senza pensieri. La piscina esclusiva è fantastica, ma il vero spettacolo sono stati i tramonti: vedere il sole calare sulla piscina, con quel panorama davanti agli occhi, è stato qualcosa di indimenticabile. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo anche la possibilità di vivere questa esperienza insieme a Charlie, che si è goduto gli spazi tanto quanto noi. È raro trovare un posto dove si riesca davvero a staccare da tutto e ritrovare un po’ di serenità. Villa Matera per noi è stata proprio questo: un piccolo angolo di pace che porteremo nel cuore. Grazie per averci regalato un soggiorno così bello. Torneremo sicuramente! ❤️

We spent a few unforgettable days in this stunning villa perched on a hill in Basilicata near Matera. The house is spacious, beautifully designed, and relatively new, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. Set in complete seclusion, it offers absolute peace and privacy. Inside, the fully equipped kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and outside, the gorgeous infinity pool overlooks breathtaking rolling hills, creating views you’ll never forget. This is truly a magical spot to disconnect from everyday life – extremely quiet, serene, and so inviting that you hardly want to leave. We felt incredibly lucky to have found this place and are already looking forward to returning someday. From the very beginning, our host Giulio was exceptionally helpful, providing great tips and advice to make our stay even better. Overall, this villa is an extraordinary, one-of-a-kind retreat that combines beauty, comfort, and tranquility in the most perfect way.

The villa was the most tranquil and beautiful place-a delight to wake up to the beautiful landscape and the sounds of birds! The owner and the caretaker were very responsive to all our needs and more.

The only short coming was that one bedroom was accessible through another bedroom, or via outdoors. A very minor point relatively speaking.
