About this farm stay rental
Traveling the road between Tuscany and Umbria, you’ll arrive in Pierle, a medieval village nestled on the hills between Cortona and Lake Trasimeno, overlooking the green valley below. Here, surrounded by olive groves and chestnut and oak woods, lies our agriturismo.
The La Stella apartment is on the ground floor and features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, ideal for 4 guests. From the entrance, you step into a spacious living room with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi.
The apartment offers one double bedroom and one with two single beds, both just steps from the pool. The bathroom is accessible for guests with disabilities, making it suitable for wheelchair users. Heating is available for an extra fee.
A careful restoration has preserved the Tuscan style of rural stone houses, with exposed chestnut beams and 19th-century stone fireplaces.
The large garden surrounding the farmhouse provides tables, chairs, a barbecue, and a wood-fired oven for picnics, grills, pizzas, tastings of local products, and outdoor aperitifs. The garden opens like a terrace with spectacular views of the lush valley and distant Umbrian mountains.
The pool, for guests’ exclusive use (12x6 meters, 140 cm maximum depth), offers relaxing moments; by the pool you’ll find loungers, tables, chairs, and umbrellas. Children can play safely in the spacious play area.
If you love hiking or simply walking outdoors, you’ll find fantastic trails around the agriturismo, winding through chestnut groves or centuries-old olive trees. In autumn, you can collect mushrooms and chestnuts. A stay in Cortona lets you enjoy a holiday immersed in nature and the beauty of the region.
