The Space:
Sandy beaches, sunshine and sunsets are waiting for you at Skaket Beach. And with the summer sand less than 500 feet from your front door, you’ll be feeling nothing this vacation except Bliss by the Bay.
Pulling into the roundabout driveway, greenery and foliage surround the home, giving privacy and calmness the second you arrive. Walk down the winding pebble path by the beautiful front lawn, up onto the covered front porch, where afternoon drinks can be enjoyed on the outdoor lounging options under the shade of the porch. Opening the navy blue door, you’re welcomed into the home’s formal living room, a stunning room flooded with natural light from the skylight above, as well as the windows and patio door overlooking the backyard and cobblestone patio. Staying downstairs, enter into the sprawling kitchen, with rich wood cabinetry, large center island with Vulcan stove, and plenty of counter space. Once your vacation meal has been made, head into the dining room to enjoy your feast, or sit in the adjacent den where beautiful midday light pours in through the windows.
Stepping off the dining room, three of the home’s four bedrooms can be found. To the right is a bedroom with a queen size bed and large windows overlooking the front garden. To the left is another bedroom with a full size bed and stylish artwork on the walls. Stepping off of this bedroom is the final first floor bedroom, complete with two twin beds and massive windows on the back wall. Please note, access to the bedroom with two twin beds is through the bedroom with the full sized bed.
Heading upstairs from the formal living room, your jaw will drop upon entering the upstairs of this home. An entertainment room awaits, with vaulted ceilings, TV and numerous seating areas, as well as natural light flooding in from the two large skylights, panoramic windows and patio door leading out to the second floor balcony/deck.
Located past the entertainment room is the home’s primary bedroom, the final bedroom in this sleeps 8 home. This spacious room with vaulted ceilings, access to private back deck, and four post bed has a large en suite bathroom, complete with jacuzzi tub, glass shower and towering ceilings.

We’ve been vacationing in Orleans for many years, and this was our 8th trip with family and friends. Overall, this home is one of the nicer rentals we’ve stayed in. The location is fantastic as it is just steps from our favorite beach, which was the main reason we booked it. The house itself is very clean and comfortably furnished. The only minor drawback inside is that the dining area feels a bit dark and could use extra lighting.The one area that could be improved is communication from the rental agency. Midway through our stay, we reported an electrical issue that turned out to be related to the utility pole outside. While it was eventually resolved, updates from the agency were slow, and we often weren’t sure what was happening behind the scenes. Some instance of inconvenience happened before the situation was resolved, one night the electrical problem caused the lights to turn off while someone was in the shower. Thankfully, the electrical issue didn’t majorly impact our vacation, but clearer and timelier communication would have made the experience better.All in all, we had a memorable trip, and this property’s location still make it a great option for anyone looking to enjoy the beach.

Property worked well for our family. Very well-equipped kitchen. Entirely as expected overall, but one of the twin bedrooms was a little poor; uncomfortable beds on castors that moved around and the AC wasn't great but that was the only issue in an otherwise ideal house. Location was great for us too. No reservations in making a recommendation
