Very clean with all the Utilities we need for our family of 5

The beds were a little bit hard for us and we needed more pillows but overall great stay

Traditional Japanese home with a real feel of home away from home. My family liked it as it is fully equipped with comfortable beds, tatami sleeping room and dining area. Also with cozy linens, towels, toiletries and vanity sets, just come as yourself! There’s a laundry machine and small balcony space with line to hang dry clothes. You have your own kitchen and sink. The facility is immaculately clean with considerate property manager who respectfully understood we were first timers in Japan and consequently approved of our check in at a time different from standard check in time. Walking distance to a convenient store, short distance from Kyoto station and in a safe/quiet area.

Not so favorable to those who has knee or walking mobility issues as stairs are narrow and bathroom/shower is downstairs and bedrooms are upstairs.

This is a beautiful and spacious property in a lovely neighborhood full of great restaurants. It is well decorated and extremely clean. The hosts were helpful and communicative. There were four of us and we were extremely comfortable.

Staying in this house for five days was an unforgettable experience. The space itself is huge, with more than enough room for the four of us and all our luggage. The staircase is quite steep, but it adds character and didn’t cause us any issues. The house is incredibly well-equipped and comfortable. The ground floor has underfloor heating (which was amazing), and each room has its own heat pump/AC. There are two toilets and a large, very comfortable bathroom. We especially loved the tatami flooring in the smaller living room and one of the bedrooms, where you can sleep on a futon. Everything was spotless, and the house came with plenty of towels. There’s also a washing machine, and even the detergent smelled great—a small detail that made a difference. On top of that, the owner was very accommodating and kindly allowed us to drop off our luggage before check-in, which we really appreciated. The location is and very easy to find. Near the convenience store and train stations. Overall, it was an incredible stay, and leaving was genuinely hard.

A bit noisy in the morning due to traffic from the front road when you are in the bedroom, but it's quiet at night.
