This Accommodation was amazing, relaxing, clean and overall a beautiful Cottage.

We stayed in the Acorn cottage and it was really lovely, true to the photos and with all the amenities, more spacious than the photos would imply. Tastefully decorated and very peaceful, with a beautiful, well-kept little garden. The bath was terrific although note that the jets don't work if that's important to you. Self check-in was easy and it was overall a relaxing, comfortable stay.
The hot water pressure is quite poor.
The dark navy towels provided were shedding a lot on damp skin, leaving trails of dark fluff.
We stayed in the middle of winter – there was not enough kindling provided for two nights, and most of the logs were too large to burn properly without smaller pieces to start off the fire. We ended up buying our own kindling and firewood which was a little disappointing.

The cottage was very comfortable and quaint. We loved the fireplace and it felt very secluded. Was a great homebase to explore the region with enough creature comforts to help make the stay relaxing. All cutlery, plates etc were there and clean. We didn't use the spa bath in the bathroom but made great use of the fireplace.
The floor in the bathroom was freezing but to be expected in July hahaha. That's about all we could dislike. Great stay

Tucked away behind an historic house. Quite private. Wood heater would be nice in winter.
An older facility in need of some TLC. Struggled with the coffee machine. Probably over-priced.
