Overall, our stay was a little disappointing, particularly given the strong rating on Booking.com.
The property seems to be focused more on events and the restaurant than on delivering a genuine winery experience. The restaurant itself was okay — the food was good, but the service was fairly ordinary. Unfortunately, the cellar door experience was particularly disappointing.
The rooms were comfortable enough, although quite sparsely furnished.
One real positive was the spa, which was excellent and something my wife particularly enjoyed.
Overall, it was an okay stay, but probably not somewhere we’d be rushing back to.
