The Rooms were stunning and the location very good, close to the upper pavilion, with stunning views over the sea.
Enjoyed it so much we booked a second night, which involved a room change to another stunning room.
We did, however have problems checking in, arriving at about 8p.m. we had no instructions on how to access the building, luckily I was able to find the owners phone number and got access.
Your access instructions arrived at 4.00 a.m. the following morning, so black mark for that!

Initially when we got to the place it was not the room we had booked. Had to make a phonecall to speak to a staff member as no one is on site. Was moved to another room (room keys are accessed by a locked box outside the main door) . Got to the room in the basement again not the room we had booked . The bed sheets were badly stained and hairs on the sheets . Called a staff member , the owner/manager did come over with new bedding to replace the bedding. But underneath the sheet there was more dirt crumbs etc. The manager/owner was very pleasant.
The heating didn’t work, there was no hand wash and the room was dirty with mould growing on the wall. Outside the room the flooring and stairs looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a while either. Don’t normally write reviews but it was a disappointing experience.
