Family Tides Guest

It was our first night in Sri Lanka and we had been so warm welcomed In the morning the owners made a surprise do my son’s birthday . They also took us for a boat trip . The apartment is really big and really clean . We loved our stay and will never forget that first night . The owners treated us like family members .

Amazing host and neat property. Mosquito nets provided and air-con made it a comfortable stay. There is an oven, good pots and a washing machine. A short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants, but easy to get around by tuk tuk too. Keels and Cargills about 1.4km walk away (or tuk tuk). We would stay again.

Stayed in a typical resident's house. On the ground floor lived the owner with his family, on the first floor with a separate entrance there was an apartment with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, toilet+shower, terrace with furniture. The apartment has fans, one bedroom has air conditioning. Very spacious, lots of windows and light, clean. The owner is always in touch, a lot of help with tips and formatting for our holiday on the island. The kitchen has everything we need for cooking, as well as spices and salt. We were provided with an iron and ironing board, washing machine, beach equipment (extra charge). It was great that an airport shuttle was provided. We arrived early, but our host met us in person. The host and his family offered us many different services (payment extra): we were cooked typical meals, the best freshly squeezed juices, we drank coconut juice, visited the massage at the spa. It was a 900m walk to the beach. We used a tuk tuk to travel long distances. We were very grateful to the owner for his involvement, advice, compassion and kindness.
