    Near to airport , nice staff and good simple place to stay a night.

    This is a house in a gated community, known as Lion City. It is away from the main road which means it is quiet. Yet you can walk 15m to the Brickwall hotel where there is good food. There are a couple of rooms on premise. I stayed in Room 101 which is on the ground floor with one Queen bed. In the room, there is a wooden garden table with 2 chairs. 4 bottles of water is provided. Though you can probably boil water in the common kitchen. There was an attached toilet with sitting toilet, water hose, washing basin and standing shower. Water is hot. The toilet is an extension of the room outwards. Breakfast is available for LKR2,000. A lady and male caretakers are onsite. There is renovation in the house beside, which makes a bit of noise but manageable (Dec 2024). Overall, near the airport. Driver pickup from airport was LKR4,000. Quiet place. Good for a short stay.
