    I stayed here last year and only got around to writing this review recently. The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay, which made us feel very welcome. The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance of the MRT station, which is situated in a park, making the surrounding environment pleasant and peaceful. That said, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The corridor lighting was extremely dim. While I understand this may be part of the hotel’s design concept, the combination of the dark lighting and black walls made the hallways feel quite eerie, especially at night. Another inconvenience was that toilet paper could not be flushed due to the building’s older plumbing system. Although this is understandable as I knew a few places in Taiwan had this, it took some getting used to. We also booked a twin-bed room and were assigned a corner room. I noticed that the layout was smaller than some of the other rooms, so space felt rather limited. Once we opened two large suitcases, it became quite difficult to move around comfortably. Overall, it was okay, but I hope some of these areas can be improved to make future stays even more comfortable.

    Decent hotel. About 10 min walk from Taipei main station if you hit the right exit. Would be good if the card slot is at the door entrance instead of behind the door. Staff is very helpful and really appreciate it.

    We booked the one with no window, only 1 room for each floor so no adjacent room for this kind of room. Room is not well maintained but a plus for japanese style toilet heated seats
