Vila Jakopič apartments

Objekt se vodi kao vila, a smješten je u suterenu (možda bivšem podrumu) vile. Ima puno malih mušica (kao da je netko zaboravio voće)

Very nice place to stay in Ljubljana. The location is great as the main center and the river Ljubljanica is short walk from it, so you are basically entering the pedestrian zone just around the corner. The bonus is the old Roman archeological site that is in the backyard, that you can visit.

Sehr gute Lage, nette Gastgeber und eigener Parkplatz direkt vor dem Zimmer. Im Gesamten waren wir sehr zufrieden. (Schriftverkehr)

Eher kleiner, das Bett war etwas hart.

First of all, the location is wonderful. A short, nice walk to the town center. Also, communication with the managers is excellent. They were very quick to respond to any issues we had. The check in process was easy and worked well. The parking for our rental car was not only free, but right next to our front door. Since we never cooked, or even ate there, I can't speak about the kitchen or utensils. My wife said it didn't look like there was any way to make coffee, but walked into town for that.

The bed had a sheet over the mattress and mattress cover, and two very light duvets. One for each person. There were no other blankets or covers in the apartment, and even though I'm under 6' tall, it was hard to stay covered up. The apartment is very damp, and to stay warm at night, we had to turn up the heat, which made it feel like a swamp. There is a dehumidifier that has to stay on all the time, but doesn't really solve the problem. Then, when I took my first shower, the water ran all the way out of the bathroom, into the bedroom and kitchen. We had to request more towels to dam up the shower every time we took a shower. The bathroom floor was very unpleasant. The bathroom mirror was so high my wife needed a stool to see her face. The check out instructions said we must take out the garbage to the dumpsters across the street, but they require a card reader to open and none was provided. A friendly resident opened one for me, luckily. We left each morning for breakfast and coffee, and then returned at night to sleep, so sleeping and bathroom duties were really all we cared about, and both were inadequate.
