Chalet Alpina

The apartment is located approximately 400mts downhill from Wengen village centre which would have been a bit of a challenge with our luggage however Chalet Alpina provides a shuttle service when checking in and when checking out. The apartment itself was extremely comfortable with all the amenities and not being in the village centre was a bonus because it meant that it was very quiet. The other bonus was that just around the corner from our apartment is one of the best views we saw in Switzerland. Absolutely fantastic.

Nothing, everything was good, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chalet Alpina.

Chalet Alpina is a perfect gem in beautiful Wengen village. It is a cozy, comfortable, and well equipped apartment with many personal touches that make you feel at home. The location is excellent, just a quick walk to the train station, grocery store, and restaurants.

Location was good, pretty central to Wengen. A steep little hill up into town but not too far and the holiday company will shuttle you up in a van if you want. We walked though which was fine, even with ski boots on. The apartment is very nice. Great little kitchen with everything you need to cook, nicely decorated and very clean. The little terrace outside is lovely, quite private and gets the sun in the afternoon. A nice quiet corner of Wengen but only a 5 min walk from the station.

The mattress on the bed was very hard and not great comfort-wise. The sofa bed was also not at all comfortable to sleep on. The chalet could do with curtains rather than the thin blinds they have, as these didn’t block out the street lights outside, meaning it was quite bright all night. You can close the outside shutters but it’s a bit of a pain.
