The Secret Corner of Luz

Secret, tropical feel of the garden and pool. Excellent location near the beach. One of a kind! Highly recommended. Kids loved the pool. It felt adventurous because of it’s shape and the steps. And good size, deep enough. The small pool actually had jacuzzi-bubbels (cold though!)

Limited hot water supply for the shower. Resulting in timing your showers or cold showers.

What a beautiful little oasis right in the centre of Luz. We have been coming to Luz for years and didn't even know this place was here. Such a lovely villa and a fantastic location.

Our only complaint is that the pillows were far too soft for all of us which affected how we slept sadly. A safe for valuables would also be useful.

Lovely villa with character and a beautiful oasis of a garden around the pool. Perfect location - just a short stroll to the beach and a good selection of restaurants and bars. Good communications with André for check in and check out. Very comfortable furnishings and beds. There was nothing we disliked and we look forward to a return visit.

Beautifully Garden & pool area, truly a secret lush corner of Luz. The location for Luz beach & restaurants is excellent. Shared spaces are generous - we were a group of 6, and having the extra living space worked well. Andre who manages the property was helpful, friendly and responsive.

1) The toilet unfortunately repeatedly blocked despite us following instructions to place toilet paper in the bin. There is only 1 toilet so this was a big problem for us. 2) There were cockroaches in the house, Andre said it was a local municipality issue. 3) Just before our arrival there was a microbial contamination leak in the waters nearby and the local beach was officially closed. But there was no communication / indication of this and all services operated normally. We found out by chance at a pharmacy after one of group developed an eye infection. 4) More minor points : no egg cups in the kitchen and only two cereal bowls.
