If you are looking for a luxurious cottage located in an interesting and pretty village with all facilities nearby, and beautifull stunning views to a sandy bay , Casa Convidado will be the perfect choice. You will find a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the beautiful Algarve sunshine ,within easy walking distance to the golden beach, with it’s activities, the many restaurants, the fun cafes, the good shops and the lovely traditional Church.
This cottage is an appealing Luz property , recently renovated, with the air conditioned bedrooms downstairs with their own designer bath and shower rooms. Two double bedrooms open onto an intimate lower shady terrace, and then down to the picturesque little garden with outside shower. There is also a comfy twin bedded room.
Upstairs you will find an airy and amazingly spacious room with a stunning sea view. At one end the modern kitchen provides everything for your needs and has a stylish dining area also with air conditioning . The comfortable sitting area on the south side has a big dining terrace outside with a stunning view over the sea and down to the famous and beautiful “Rocha Negra”. From here you can enjoy the overwhelming sunrises and sunsets.

Praia da Luz is an ideal place for family holidays and within easy drives to the lively town of Lagos, to Portimão and to the windswept and unspoilt west coast surfing beaches as well as historical inland towns. Also, available for winter rentals.

Wir sind aufgrund der anderen sehr guten Bewertungen auf dieses Objekt aufmerksam geworden. Die Lage ist wirklich sehr gut! Die Ausstattung mit Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler ist sehr praktisch. Die restliche Ausstattung variiert seeehr stark von billigstem Schrott und guten hochwertigen Dingen. Bei uns war z.b. nur ein riesiges Messer vorhanden, auf Nachfrage wurden uns kleine Messer gebracht, die allerdings secondhand waren, komplett verklebt von komischer Klebefolie und unbrauchbar. Der eine Stuhl vom Esstisch kracht auch sozusagen schon auseinander, die Spülmaschine schließt schief usw.
Die offene Küche (auch die Schränke sind offen) ist mit Kleinkindern nicht so praktisch, sowie die Treppen innerhalb des Hauses und vom Balkon runter in den Garten. Uns wurde für die Treppe eine Kinder-Absicherung versprochen, die aber leider nicht gebracht wurde. Besteck und Geschirr ist für 4 Personen überwiegend vorhanden, Müslischüsseln waren nur 3 vorrätig. Der untere Stock riecht etwas muffig, aber ist halt sehr nah am Meer und die Feuchtigkeit von zwei Bädern kommt dazu... Die warm-Dusche im Garten nach dem Strand um den Sand abzuwaschen ist sehr positiv hervorzuheben. Das war jetzt eine sehr ausführliche Beschreibung, aber wir dachten man muss es mal ehrlich bewerten, da solche Informationen ja schon wichtig sind. Also es gibt sehr viel Positives, jedoch auch einige negative Eigenschaften, die je nach dem mehr oder weniger ungeschickt sind.
