If exploring is on the cards, take the ferry out to the Frioul Islands for a walk along the coastal paths and a seafood lunch in one of the waterfront bistrots. Or why not soak up some of the city’s culture with a visit to the Museum of Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean?
