Tucked away in the Liffre countryside, this quiet home offers a serene rural escape in northwestern France.
Showcasing whimsical decor and plenty of homely touches, this is the perfect place to take some time out and explore some of France’s best nature spots. In the autumn, Rennes Forest really comes to life. Take an afternoon stroll beneath the golden leaves and give mushroom picking a try – ingredients don’t get any fresher than this. For the more adventurous travellers, there are plenty of hiking and biking trails nearby – it's a great way to see more of the natural wonders on offer.
Spend the evenings watching movies in front of a roaring fire (this home comes with its own pellet stove) or ease your muscles after a day of exploring in the private sauna. When the sun is shining, open the patio doors and step onto the private terrace to enjoy a cup of coffee with garden views. If you need to catch up on some work, or enjoy writing in a peaceful setting, there’s a desk with more than enough room for a laptop - who wouldn’t feel inspired in the French countryside?
