Authentic Log Cottage with Hot Tub

Small but comfortable wood house in the middle of woods near a river, very quiet, isolated but with the host close and ready to help. Very well equipped, lovely to have a sauna when it's minus 36 outside and we need to gain warmth before observing the auroras. We couldn't use the hot tub as it was all frozen down to the bone of course. The frozen river side is a perfect spot. It's close to the Ranua wildlife park and our stay was definitely a lappish experience.

Two things that do not impact my positive comment: 1) an unpleasant smell sometimes shows up for some reason that looks not be controllable, 2) the stairs to the rooms are very steep if you have babies or toddlers to carry up and down.

Absolutely amazing! This was the Lapland cabin that dreams are made of, with everything you need while still being in the middle of nature. The kitchen was well equipped, there was a sauna and hot tub that worked perfectly, and it was all around incredibly nice and comfortable to relax here. The surrounding nature is beautiful, and asides from the occasional car driving by in the distance (which didn’t bother us at all), it is a very quiet area. Sanna is a great host who was kind enough to keep us updated about the Northern Lights around the property, so we wouldn’t miss out on seeing them. We would love to return!

La beauté du lieu, chalet en bois au bord d'une rivière. Chaleureux, bien équipé, avec sauna et hot spot génial ! A 45>/50mn de Rovaniemi et tout près du zoo.

L'espace pour les lits enfants est un peu petit ( en sous pente), pour de grands ado. Un peu de lumière de la route, je ne pense que cela empêche de voir les aurores boréales ( trop de nuages pour nous cette semaine hélas) mais du hot spot ça doit être incroyable. On en a quand même aperçu une sous les nuages donc ça doit aller. Un peu plus cher que les autres que nous avions vus et qui ont été pris.
