The house could be great. Nice views quality construction at one point. It was fabulous.

Horrible Christmas Vacation!

This house had such amazing potential. We arrived at our check in time to find that the house did not have any heat or hot water. We tried working with Vacasa (property management company) to resolve this issue, but they were unhelpful. The only person that I was put in contact with that was helpful was the local maintenance guy who understood the severity of the situation and was the one who initiated the rebooking. I was sent two properties to choose from and because a full family was standing in a house with the temperature now down to 48 degrees, we quickly picked a new house and packed up our belongings. Our new house was a townhouse and nowhere near the size or value of the previous house, but because I didnt read the fine print (fees, daily rates, etc) we were charged for the new house based on last minute booking rates, it was Christmas week so you can understand these rates are overinflated. Vacasa gave me the run around when I tried to dispute this pricing and had no sympathy or understanding that we did nog cause these issues to the home. Ultimately they did not provide a sufficient refund for our horrible experience. All in all avoid Vacasa property management company, even if you are going through booking.com you will be subject to what Vacasa decides in regard to any refunds, house changes or other solutions.
