About this house rental
With views of the majestic snowcapped Colorado Rockies, Elk House is an unforgettable retreat. Thoughtfully designed and built into the hillside, this ranch style home blends seamlessly into the stunning natural beauty surrounding it. The return guest list expands each year as it is perfect location for a peaceful get away or an action packed family reunion. Elk House is on the Beautiful Keystone Ranch Golf Course.
Separate wings of the house are organized around a great room area featuring a prominent, river rock, wood burning fireplace surrounded by comfortable seating; two eating areas, and an open kitchen complete the space. All four guest bedrooms have private baths, two have gas fireplaces. Though the pictures don't show this, all three bedrooms and Den have flat screen TVs, bunk room does not have a TV.
The Bunk Room sleeps 6 in three bunk beds. A cozy library/study/TV room contains a fold out couch and its own bathroom, which easily converts it into another sleeping room. The other three bedrooms are furnished as follows: Primary bedroom = queen, guestroom 2 = king or two twins, guestroom 3 w/ private exterior entrance = two twins. In total, this four bedroom home sleeps 12!
Other amenities include an indoor Jacuzzi with a view, a stereo sound system, free WiFi, and wonderful outside spaces are perfect for entertaining with gas grill and an outdoor fireplace.

Well well maintained, stocked with anything you could imagine. Receptive and active communication with host, magnificent space for gatherings, and wonderful scenery right out those amazing big windows. If you’re skiing in Keystone/Breckenridge, a must stay!

This is an amazing property. If you are looking for a place near Keystone, just stop now and request to rent this one. We were looking for a clean home that could sleep 9 - two families with teens. This house could not have been more perfect. Lots of room to spread out. Several sleeping options (read: the kids moved around to different rooms/beds.) Best part of this home - all the extras. Full of extras! Some examples: soap, shampoo, conditioner, any and all paper goods, spices, fully equipped kitchen. If there was something we would need from our own home kitchen - it was there! We enjoyed the indoor hot tub every night followed by board games and UNO.
Know that this house is a bit of a drive from the Keystone base areas - and at the end of a road. But the drive is lovely and the VIEW from the home is amazing and worth it. We were there in March, so during winter I would recommend an all wheel drive vehicle. Nothing steep, but the long road to the house can have icy spots. Was surprise that the house is on the bus route! Pretty cool!
Don't hesitate to reserve this home. You'll love it too!
