About this house rental
This 3,751 square foot stand-alone home in the prestigious “Keystone Ranch" has 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 14. It features a sauna and a large deck with gorgeous mountain views. Parking is available for four cars.
Winter guests will enjoy easy access to the Keystone Ski Resort in less than 10 minutes. A-basin is only 10 minutes further and Breckenridge and Copper Mountain are just a half hour away. Vail is only a little further (about 40 minutes). For cross-country skiing fans, the Keystone Nordic Center is nearby and trails run through the neighborhood.
Summer guests will enjoy hiking trails in the National Forest steps from your door, The fabulous Keystone Ranch Golf Course and its 5-star Restaurant are less than a half mile away.
The main level living area features a vaulted ceiling, many windows, and a wood-burning fireplace with floor-to-ceiling stone. The oversized furniture is perfect for curling up in front of a roaring fire. Next to the fireplace is a flat screen TV with Roku “smart tv" capabilities. There is a half bath for the convenience of guests.
The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the cookware, knives, glassware, appliances (coffee machines, blender, crockpots, waffle maker, etc.) and tableware to make a gourmet meal and features granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. The dining area can seat ten and there are four additional seats at the breakfast bar. Access to the rear deck is just off the dining area. Enjoy the beautiful views and the fresh mountain air on the extensive patio furniture.
The main level also offers a spacious mud room with built-in ski and boot storage and a seating area to socialize or play games. Enter this room either from the front deck or the attached garage.
The main level also features a laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer. Laundry detergent is provided for your convenience.
This home offers a total of six bedrooms, five with en-suite bathrooms. The primary bedroom is on the main level and features a King bed, a flat screen “smart†tv, and its own entrance to the deck. The en-suite bathroom has double sinks and a shower/tub combination.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, all with private bathrooms. The first bedroom has a King bed, a “smart†flat screen tv and a gorgeous mountain view. The second bedroom has a Queen bed with a “smart" flat screen tv. The third bedroom has a twin-over Queen bunk bed. This room can also double as an office, with two desks and a wireless multifunction printer, scanner, and copier for your convenience.
Downstairs are two more bedrooms. The fifth bedroom has a twin-sized bed with a twin-sized trundle, and its own private bathroom. The sixth bedroom has two beds (a full and a twin) and a “smart" flat screen TV. There is a full bathroom in the hall.
The lower level also has a wonderful family room with comfortable theater-style recliners and a 60" flat screen TV with a “smart" Roku device. Curl up for a movie night with the supplied throw blankets. Also on this level is a Sauna Room, perfect for unwinding and rejuvenating after a day's activities.
Please note, this property includes a camera on the outside of the garage for security and monitoring purposes.
*This property has a minimum age requirement. To reserve this vacation rental, the paying guest must be 26 years of age. This property also requires a minimum of 2 nights to be reserved. If you reserve less than 2 nights you will be contacted and required to either lengthen your stay or cancel your reservation. Large events such as weddings and parties are prohibited. Parking is strictly enforced; there is room for 1 vehicle in the private garage and 3 vehicles in the driveway directly in front of the garage - NO street parking.
Our Home is in a quiet, residential, HOA community. We pride ourselves on being respectful and good neighbors. Do NOT book this property if you do not intend to review and abide by all of the HOA's rules, particularly the rules relating to noise and parking. If it is determined that you have violated the HOA's rules, you will be fined a minimum of $500, and, for repeated violations, your rental may be terminated without refund. Nice house, out of the way but not too far. We booked it in part due to the sauna which only partially worked which was disappointing. They sent techs out twice but the techs didn't know how to fix it. Great setup for adults upstairs and kids downstairs. Our trip was all adults so we didn't utilize the common area downstairs

We had an overall great stay at the property. Two families with kids ranging from kindergarten to college. Enjoyed the large table to gather and eat or play games and cards. The only drawbacks were the garage was too small for either SUV's to fit in and some of the appliances and TV's could use updates. For example, the oven did not heat up properly and was unusable, the cooktop was finicky, and nonstick skillets would be a good addition. Not sure if the fireplace worked or not, there was no firewood. Overall we were pleased with the stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was big enough for all to sleep comfortably and was well laid out. The beds we slept in were so comfortable. We LOVED the pillows.Here is a list of things that could be improved:THE HOUSE WAS NOT WELL MAINTAINED: -We had smoke detectors beeping that we had to try to sleep through then buy batteries to replace. - The lighting was poor. We had to replace a lot of light bulbs to be able to see. -The oven didn’t shut all the way and needed repair -The sliding door to the back patio did not slide and was a pain to use -a shower downstairs was missing a shower door which made for a mess in showering -the back patio rails were falling apart, needed paint and had bees flying in and out of them.Although the BACK PATIO was relaxing, the mismatched, randomly placed, and filthy furniture was not inviting.THE KITCHEN WAS SO FRUSTRATING: -We spent half the vacation trying to clean our stuck food off the pans which we never figured out how to use properly -There was no plastic wrap, foil or plastic containers for left overs. This is usually provided. We donated these items to the house that we had to buy -We found a lot of dirty dishes and utensils. We had to wash almost everything before use. One knife I pulled out was greasy and nasty like someone used it and stuck it back in the block unwashed.FOOD chunks and crumbs were found in bedrooms as well as kitchen cabinets.RUGS were bunched up/not lying flat in 2 rooms making tripping hazardsThese are the things that we made note of. It’s only for you to make improvements. They certainly did not ruin our vacation. But, I’m not sure we would stay there again.
