Wat een prachtige plek tussen de bergen met super vriendelijke mensen. Hillary zorgt dat er niks aan ontbreekt. Zo gastvrij ontvangen. Je kunt er schitterend wandelen vanuit je huis. Deze plek is echt schitterend!
Hou er rekening mee dat je een hout kachel moet stoken om het huis warm te krijgen in de winter maar dat is alleen maar knus en gezellig.

The place. The hostess Hillary was very friendly and hands on. We slept at the rondawel, the place was clean. As it is winter, there was a gas heater and oil heater as well as water bottles. We did hiking and got to see dinosaur footprints. The hike is not difficult, less than 3km.
The gravel road to the lodge. It is not bad though.

It’s a RETREAT place. Like a serious REEEEETREAT.. If you want to be in your own thoughts. That is the place to be... no TV, no radio, just you, nature and a book. The host will keep you apprised with everything (even which highway to avoid due to small potholes 😂) to ensure your arrival is safe. Then you arrive and meet the welcoming Mr Robert. ‘Hela ngwana Mme banna!’ My brother from my other mother.
The road from the main highway to the RETREAT is not forgiving for a small vehicles. Prepare yourself. Remember it’s a RETREAT.. otherwise this is a place to be if you want to do self-reflection.
