Well equipped kitchen, large living room with comfy sofas, only a short (but uphill) stroll from town, parking bay, new carpets throughout
Musty smell in bedrooms (particularly the front twin room) which is attempted to be covered by scent diffusers dotted around the property, mouldy shower seal, soft beds, poor quality bedding, doors that aren’t hung properly so don’t fully close

Very peaceful. The property had a shady rear garden with trees and a stream which you could hear but not access. It was very pleasant when the weather was hot. All rooms were spacious with all facilities we needed. Spotlessly clean. It was ideal for town.
whilst ideal for town for us....some less mobile might find the hill upto the property a bit of a climb. We didn't and it beat taking the car down there and finding parking!

Very spacious flat which has recently been renovated and in great decor. Great to have 2 bathrooms and a space to sit outside. Great location for Ambleside and other than noise from the flat above, very quiet.
Parking was difficult as every day a van parked in a space behind which had hazard lines so difficult to get in and out of allotted space. Very quiet until a family with a toddler moved in upstairs and then very noisy. Such a shame as a fabulous flat.
