Real home from home, cosy and comfortable.
Carpet from front door area to kitchen door area could do with a deep clean, grubby due to dirty shoes. Also a new Hoover would help visitors to keep the house looking clean, this is just a small point as the house was clean and tidy everywhere else.

Lovely cottage right in the centre of Ambleside. Great for the shops, pubs and restaurants.
We loved it all.

The location was amazing, great access to everything.
Beautiful accommodation, had everything we needed.
The dog next door barked..... a lot.

Location was ideal and there was easy access to the town although parking was frequently difficult. The accommodation was pleasant and it was a quiet area next to the park
There was a lack of basic necessities such as toilet rolls and hand soap in the bathrooms and more kitchen consumables such as washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets which I would have expected to find included
