Quaint cottage, great location

Loved the location, just on the edge of the town centre. The cottage has loads of charm. Getting in was no problem, as was leaving at the end of the stay.

Unfortunately there's no dedicated parking (although there is a nearby car park at £4.50/day). As a cottage it has single glazing and is near a fairly busy junction (we're familiar with the area so expected this).

Nice place to stay but....

The Cottage is lovely just a short walk to the beach, and is really well equipped. The host left tea coffee, bread milk , cake and butter, a nice touch.

The lack of parking became a real faff as the nearest car park has a 4hour only restriction, although you can park in it free overnight from 6pm until 9am. The BIG BIG issue is the Live Music from the Blue Anchor pub across the road sadly you cant escape the noise which went on until 11:30pm on Saturday. We spoke to a neighbour who lives there all year her words called it an " Fffing disgrace".

The cottage was cosy and welcoming and would certainly book it again.

it was in a perfect location for shops and the coast all within walking distance.

The stairs could have had more of a handrail as the steps were steep and narrow. (For two 70 year olds!)

Would definitely recommend this cottage for breaks to Teignmouth.

The location was extremely central to the town.Host had left a welcome pack which was a lovely thoughtful touch.The cottage was comfortable and homely.Everything you needed was there.

Having to pay £5 a day for parking in the local carpark as there was never any parking outside the cottage.Locals appeared to leave their cars there for days at a time.Also the bathroom bin was full to overflowing,obviously though this was just an oversite by the cleaner on changeover day.
