Shipwrights Cottage

Super easy, walk into town and right by the sea. Really close to amenities. Fairly spacious rooms and big bathroom.

For the most part, it was very tiny and clean. We did have a bit of issue with a shower. There was a bit of a clog which we managed to fix ourselves. The outdoor area could use a bit of sprucing up. But there is lots of appliances, full size fridge freezer comfortable in the kitchen area. The first chair when you walk into the living room needs to be replaced. It’s quite saggy, but the decorations were very nice and it was a cute little cottage.

Excellent location and long stay car park was a good price for a weekend. Free after 6pm until 9am too. Welcome pack. Everything was there even filter coffee!

The kitchen cupboards had a strong smell of damp and little things like a door hand was loose.

Ideal location, close to town. Lovely welcome pack. Cottage with character.

Nearby pub was very noisy with music, etc on weekend, which was no fault of the Cottage.

The Cottage is lovely just a short walk to the beach, and is really well equipped. The host left tea coffee, bread milk , cake and butter, a nice touch.

The lack of parking became a real faff as the nearest car park has a 4hour only restriction, although you can park in it free overnight from 6pm until 9am. The BIG BIG issue is the Live Music from the Blue Anchor pub across the road sadly you cant escape the noise which went on until 11:30pm on Saturday. We spoke to a neighbour who lives there all year her words called it an " Fffing disgrace".
