Pool: $100/daily fee to 82 degrees. (More heat is an additional fee)
Spa: $35/daily fee to 102 degrees. SPA HEATED ON DEMAND ONLY. USUALLY 15-30 MINUTES TO HEAT, DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF THE YEAR, CAN BE UP TO 50 MINUTES IN COLDER WEATHER. SPA IS NOT HEATED FOR ARRIVAL.
Gas prices are at an all time high entering the new year, and we do not profit on these fees. If you need the pool/spa heated upon your arrival, let me know at least 24hrs in advance. We can have it ready for your arrival at that time. Pool heating time varies depending on outside temperature. Pool fee can not be refunded unless heating issue is due to a problem with equipment.
**Pool heating is not needed in summer months. Pool heating is available all year and usually recommended mid September to mid June.
**Spa instructions:**
Spa in the desert is heated on demand and kept at pool temperature until one is ready to use it.
1.Press SPA. It will takes about 10-20 mins to be ready.
3. When you go to turn it off, you press the same 1 or two buttons BUT know that it will look like it’s not doing anything, takes about 5 minutes to turn off.
4. In order to have continuous pool heating please turn off the spa when finished with it.
UMBRELLAS: For safety reasons, we ask that you please put away umbrellas when not in use or during high-winds.
**Pool cleaning takes place every Tuesday and Thursday between 2:30-4:00pm

Early Check-In/Late Check-out Requests:
If you require special accommodations with either an early check-in, or late check-out, we will gladly help UPON AVAILABILITY. Early check-in fee is $75 and will be paid upon request. Late check-out requests are not easily attainable as our staff needs time to properly sanitize and clean before the next guests arrive. In the event we do not have a reservation following yours, we will gladly accommodate for a $75 fee and move our cleaning crew to a later schedule and may allow you to extend for the day or night at a special rate if desired and availability permits. All late check-out requests must be made before 8:30pm the evening prior to check-out.
CHECKOUT DUTIES:
If you could kindly start a load of pool towels and a load of white towels in the washing machines, put your trash in the trash bins outside and start the dishwasher. Thank you so much.
City of Desert Hot Springs Ordinance for Short-Term Rentals:
Music: Music is allowed outdoors at cellular/laptop level before 10pm and not before 8am.
Quiet Hours: 10pm until 8am In order to respect our neighbors, please ensure zero music outside and human noise is kept to an absolute minimum.
Occupancy: Max 8 overnight and an additional 4 in the daytime.
Notes: Breaking any of the city rules may result in a code violation, enforcement fines payable fully by guest, and potential eviction. If the person that booked reservation cannot attend to their phone in case of an issue, an alternative number and contact should be provided. If we are unable to reach an emergency contact and must dispatch a representative to the property, there will be a $50 charge during the day, or $100 charge after 10pm. Please know we will not micromanage or invade your privacy - we only want you, and your group/family, to have an amazing time while understanding the rules we all must observe within the city of Desert Hot Springs.
*Air Mattresses are available upon request, prior to check-in.
CHILD TRAVEL ITEMS:
Being a small family business, we love hosting and accommodating all of our guests, especially our younger ones! We do provide a pack and play and a high chair, complimentary for our little guests with a 24 hour advanced notice. For any other items such as strollers, car seats, children toys or anything along those lines, we have partnered with a local vendor that can be of assistance. Please reach out to our team for details. Please note: Fees will apply for those items. Payable directly to the vendor.

Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised how much the house looked like the photos, it was beautiful (especially after driving through the desolate town). There was an abundance of supplies in the kitchen and we were left a welcome movie night gift (which was very thoughtful)! The house was very clean but there was a ton of bird poop on the hot tub surround from the pigeons. I thought that could have used a good hose down before we arrived. The only golf club was broken, as well as the large umbrella, and there was only one donut float that held air. I also would have preferred the games and floats already be set up but they were all in the garage.
We received a text message around 4:30 pm (shortly after our arrival) that they received a noise complaint about us and we’d have to pay a fine if we did not quiet our music. We were only playing music from a portable speaker. We proceeded to turn it down and then listened to the neighbors music and loud bass the rest of the night. The second night the other neighbors had a full wedding in the backyard with a sound system and dancing and music past 10 pm. It felt like we had been singled out. The pool equipment and A/C are outside of the guest bedroom which made for a noisy night with the windows open and there was a motion light that would turn on when the equipment went on.
Overall the stay was nice but I’d probably look for a more secluded home next time. The neighbors are very close and the music rules are a bit strict.
