The property was a cute and a charming cottage! A lot bigger than the pictures suggest. Excellent facilities. The location was perfect just a short walk from Ambleside and in a quiet location. Was perfect for a hiking holiday with the dog.

The parking space was perfectly fine for a hatchback car but a bigger car would struggle. The dishwasher could do with being looked at as dishes would come out with food stuck to them. There was also no space to store your own food so we used the side. Would benefit maybe with some shelves on the wall to store food to free up worktop space!

Beautiful location & property.

Poor toilet flush. Otherwise, a perfect property.

Het was heel knus en was van alle gemakken voorzien, we hebben mooie wandelingen gemaakt en dat kon direct vanuit het huisje.

En was wel een stukje lopen de heuvel op vanaf het centrum, dus houd daar wel rekening mee.

The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were adequate. Cleanliness was reasonable but not brilliant.

The property was supposed to be dog friendly with access to a spacious garden. However the front and rear gardens ( grassed areas )were community gardens and dogs weren’t allowed on them, in fact dogs were not allowed out at the rear of the property at all. Also a certain lady neighbour was quite rude (no5) Demanding that our small cockapoo dog was kept away from her property and on a lead at all times. No hello or politeness, she just opened her front door said her piece and shut the door again! Also if you struggle with hills then do not book this location!
