Location is great! Lovely homely cottage with everything we needed. A lovely stay

The price was amazing considering the central location. No need to pay for parking in either of the large carparks as a parking permit is provided, just leave it on your dashboard. The Beds were comfy and the bathrooms were clean and functional. The house was well heated, we stayed in March and house felt warm for the whole stay. The local area is a favourite of ours as there are lots of great bars and restaurants and its only a 10 minute drive from Winderemere.

It is an absolutely beautiful property and, I think the most well maintained cottage I have ever stayed in. Everywhere was very clean, warm and well equipped. The shower in the bathroom was powerful and the bed comfy.

My only suggestion would be to change the plug in torch in the left hand bedroom so that it either isn’t quite so bright or goes off when you’re not moving around. Had to put the chair in front of it with a throw over the back so I could sleep.

Very comfortable cottage and enough space for a family of 4. The cottage was very well equipped and had everything we needed, including lots of info on the area and a parking permit which was invaluable. Great kitchen and great to have 2 bathrooms. Very clean and tidy and perfect central location.

Mattresses were ok but could have been firmer but that's personal preference really.
