An attractive, traditional red-and-white house in the countryside, yet located in the center of Mariannelund on the edge of the forest and just 20 meters from the bank of a stream where you can fish. Next door is a small park with beautiful walking trails. The first floor of the house features a kitchen, a large living room, and a small restroom. The living room has a wood-burning stove. Upstairs are two bedrooms; one, with a double bed, serves as a walk-through room to the shower room, which has a sink and a washing machine. The second bedroom has three single beds. Outside on the property is an outbuilding with two additional sleeping spaces. This outbuilding has no running water or heating. There are several seating areas to choose from on the property.
Mariannelund is a familiar name to fans of Astrid Lindgren’s children’s books, and here you can also discover Michle’s Katthult and Bullerby. Nearby is a film studio where you can marvel at some of the sets from the Astrid Lindgren films. There are also several lakes in the area for swimming and fishing.
