Enjoy a relaxing break in this vacation home right by the glistening forest lake.
Use this accommodation, just outside Mariannelund, as a pleasant base for a wonderful active vacation in picturesque Småland. Here you can find peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. Enjoy your time together in the beautifully lit living room, be it playing cards or having a cozy lunch. Warm summer evenings in convivial company await you on the terrace with its beautiful panoramic view of the lake. Throw your beach towel over your shoulder first thing in the morning and refresh yourself in the lake. The house is within walking distance of the film village with restaurant and ice cream parlor. There is also an ice cream parlor at Spilhammars Camping 400 meters away.
Småland offers fairytale forests with tall spruce trees, sparkling forest lakes, rushing streams, sweet blueberries and moose, as well as tranquillity, authentic culture and charming villages with red wooden houses. The Mariannelund caramel factory, the world of Astrid Lindgren, Vimmerby Adventure Park at Södra Vi and the towns of Bullerby and Lönneberga are all within easy reach. If you are one of those people who have seen the Michel from Lönneberga films over and over again with your children, it might be interesting to visit Katthult Farm, where many of the outdoor scenes and some of the indoor scenes were filmed. There are also two moose parks within 50 km.
