Amazing week staying at THE BEACH HOTEL SPLIT.

Lovely beach hotel away from the City

Very cute beach hotel steps away from the water. Good location for beach activities and right near some good food. Very nice and helpful reception.

The shower didn't seem to work so all I could do was a lukewarm bath. There was some confusion about how payment should work. The hotel is not in Split so any activities from Split required a 15 minute drive and there was a fair amount of traffic.

Fantastic 4 day break

A room that truly had a wonderful sea view. Spacious and very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff. We will be back!

The warmest people that I know live in Croatia.

The property is located in a suburb of Split, so you will need taxi transfers to most sights and excursions but in exchange, you get breathtaking beach views and water clarity that you can’t get closer to the city. It is directly above several excellent restaurants and close to grocery stores and a bakery. The water at the beach steps away from the hotel was like glass, unbelievably clear and calm most days. Our concierge and housekeeping staff went out of their way to make my birthday special, including leaving local snacks in our room the whole week leading up to the day. I pulled our housekeeper aside to tell her I’ve never been in a cleaner hotel room than the one she prepared.

The main photo for the property is a little misleading. The jacuzzi is only available to guests staying in the one room that has it. I was not aware of that and was looking forward to using it. There is also an umbrella attendant at the hotel that asks a 50 kuna fee to open the umbrellas that are already sat out in front of the hotel. He will attempt to charge this even if you open the umbrella yourself. As an American visiting, I already had to get used to the idea of paying to use public toilets and not being offered free ice water at restaurants, so the umbrella racket seemed truly unnecessary — the hotel should include use of the umbrellas. The carpet in our room should be replaced as well, it was very visibly stained and felt dirty especially in comparison to the otherwise completely spotless room.

Awesome stay in Podstrana

Excellent location, super friendly staff, amazing view from balcony, comfortable bed. Most of all the way your treated and looked after by Ornela and her husband they really do make it feel like home from home, if your looking for somewhere to stay in Podstrana don't look any further than this place.

Staff very friendly, beautiful rooms and balcony, was delighted to be spending my wedding anniversary here. Ornela left us different croatian cakes everyday in our room cant rate this place enough, will definitely be back.

Amazing

The hotel was directly on the beach which was lovely and although there were a lot of people there it was easy to move around. The hotel rooms are exquisite. The bathroom is very spacious and well equipped for 2 adult travellers. The receptionist is so friendly and welcoming that I wish we had time to stay 1 more night. The hotel has sunloungers for hotel guests, we were too late to get one so paid for 2 beds next to the hotel. Once the receptionist found out we paid she came out apologising for the lack of beds and gave my wife a gift, which is so lovely and shows level of kindness and respect for the guests this hotel has. 1000% would recommend this place.

No sign on the road side so had to message the hotel for directions. Actually you use the neighbouring hotels car park and and walk around the back between 2 buildings to find the enclosed entrance. Easy when you know how.

great location, clean & good size rooms worth a visit

our time at Beach Hotel Split was excellent. It is family owned and run. Ornella is one of the most hospitable hosts. Her local knowledge of day trips and restaurants was always spot on. Rooms are of a generous size, cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Jacuzzi bath is relaxing after a hot day in the sun. Beach access is at property is superb.

Croatian weekend

Friendly nice staff. Directly on the beach.

There is no Gym indoor swimming pool or sauna as it is written in the description of the hotel. When we asked them they told us that we have to go to another hotel and pay a fee. No breakfast. You have breakfast in the San Antonio hotel and it is terrible. You have free parking but is always full. I don't know how is this even a hotel. More like rent rooms.

Great value, beautiful sea views in this modern hotel

Gorgeous views and location, felt more modern than other surrounding hotels. Recommend the sea facing rooms as it's right on the beach and the views are lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful, not many facilities in the hotel itself but we had no issues. Short 15 min drive into Split and plenty bars/restaurants nearby on the beach around the hotel to explore. You get access to sun loungers on the beach too. Very happy with my stay!

Wonderful relaxing time.

The place is a real gem. The view from the deck is beautiful (the hot tub is nice, too). The rooms are immaculate and beautiful, each with a bath tub. The direct access to the beach is also a huge plus if travelling with kids (we didn't this time): no road to cross. The water is clean and clear. The hostess was particularly cheerful and always ready to help, and it was a delight to just chat with her. She gave us some advice on where to go and what to see. This is a place we'll definitely come back to! Well worth a 10!

We liked everything! One little thing worth noting is that if you book the room with the hot tub on the deck (top floor), you'll have to give a 100 euro deposit (or equivalent in another currency), which will be returned to you once you check out. This took us a bit by surprise so make sure you have that much cash to be frozen during your stay. This does not, however, take anything from the place. Still worth a 10!!! :-))

Lovely small hotel

Great location, right on the beach and just 2 mins from shop, bakery and bus stop. Free sun loungers for all hotel guests. Room was small but clean. Kettle and mini fridge in the room Host was really helpful and greeted us with smile every morning.

Only disadvantage was a lack of lift in the hotel

Only problem is no lift and all facilities are in the Hotel Antonio next door including Breakfast , Main road to cross for supermarket and no proper walking outside on the road

L’emplacement en bord de mer est très agréable, l’hôtel est entouré par pas mal de restaurant et d’activités, la chambre était quant à elle très chaleureuse aussi. De plus le personnel très agréable et accueillant !

Petit point négatif sur la douche, la vitre est trop petite ce qui éclabousse en grosse partie le sol de la salle de bain
